My wiper spray action is not strong. Left side hardly any water, right side small stream and reach only bottom of windscreen. What is the solution?

For e39, u can adjust the spray nozzle up down and side by side. Try to check yours.

Check your wiper spray water hose. It may be leaking or not properly fitted at the nozzle. Thus when you spray, it leaks into your engine bay. Pop hood and spray and check for leaking source.

Or you got a clogged nozzle.

open the insulation under the front hood and check the tubes. had this problem on my e39, its simply the tube coming off the nozzle. check if that is the case with your car

My bet is clogged plastic screen (filter) after electric motor by reservoir, might have to remove front tire to get to, but not really necessary if you're creative.15 minutes DIY job. Check the motor and leak while you're at it.

Could be clogged nozzles. Take the smallest and finest needle you can find and gently poke it. It could clear the clogged nozzle.

Salut

I got the washer level low warning, filled up the reservoir. Yesterday, found the reservoir low again , no way I could use that amount of water. So I think I have a leak. Could it be the pump problem or the reservoir leaking?

Is there any water in the reservoir? If there is, it could be a faulty float switch located at the water reservoir.

Yes there still is. Float switch in the reservoire? Thats new to me

Of course have lar. If dont have, how you get alarm?

btw, my E36 dont have level switch. so when no water come out, I know the reservoir is empty.

hi jimmy, your wiper tank has a pump. the black item that the cable is plugged into in the 1st picture in your fb album is the water pump.

I had a problem with my wiper earlier this year & performed an overhaul. I changed my water tank coz it was leaking(a water tank comes with a built-in level sensor), changed the wiper motor coz it wasn't working, changed both output valves at the water spray nozzle on the bonnet, & made sure the hoses are all clear to squirt out water. Now it works effortlessly. Let me know if you need further info, cheers.
