Good day bros and sis,Will be very appreaciate if any sifus can tell me.I will be outstation soon for 10 days. So definately will just park my UDM for 10 days. I live alone so will be no one to warming up my e46 engine. Will there be anything go wrong if I come back 10 days or 12 later? I heard the petrol will run out some 'gas' if put too long. Please share some experience or advise. Tq tq.

Relax....10-12 days is nothing to worry about. I thought you were leaving your car for months.

If you're truly paranoid: leave a full tank of gas (vapor/condensation issue), pump up air pressure (to avoid flatspotting), wash/wax car and cover and maybe get one of those battery conditioner/trickle charger contraption. Even with everything off, there is a slow drain in the battery. But again, this is overkill for 10-12 days.

The worst is to have a relative come over to 'start the car' every now and then....

I went on overseas for about 10 days at the end of 2004. Left the car at KLIA for the whole period, didn't do anything to it before leaving. Came back, started at first crank......and it's a 1995 E34, 10-year old car. Worst thing was the carpark charges, I think RM30 x 10 = RM300.

I wouldn't leave my car at the airport. Airport parking garages are one of the top spots for door dings. Something to do with folks who park at airport garages are most often in a hurry to get in and out. Couple that with the high probability they are negotiating some bulky luggages....presto! door ding galore.

Olalaaaa...!!!! now that you ask.

Be prepared...be very prepared. SlushBox failure will come haunt you.

oops...wrong topic.

Dude,

better ask somebody to drive you to the airport. then buy him a good meal.
