i have a e34 as well and i do wish to have the same 2 wheels that u have choose..for me if without any lips or bodykit i will go for style 32..if with some bodykits and spoiler, i will slap the ac type 2 in...

just my 2cents..

Thanks for your opinion. I like both the wheels.

On the Style 32, the rear offset is nicer and its flushed with the rear fenders. The wider track in the rear make it look macho. I like the wide lip in the rear. It has the classy look but pain in the butt when it comes to washing. I think it might not suit the AC bodykit if I were to go for it in future.

On the AC, I like the deep dish design. Easy to wash, suits AC body kit, gives it a sportier look. Things I hate about AC rims are rear offset not enough, looks smaller than style 32 & non staggerred.

style 32 looking great in ya ride ..and if the AC's then the 19" would be the ultimate ...

Thanks for your view.

I agree with you.... 19" Type II will be the dream wheels. It is staggerred and super deep dish design. I have seen it on Tom's Ultimate V12 E34 and it sure looked handsome.

Currently I don't think I will go with the 19" path due to tyre cost, potholes & loosing the handling responseness.

Looks like it my 18" AC Type II will either go back to the storeroom or find a good home for it if home minister makes noise.

Julian, both rims look fab on your car. Goodness. Such luxury you have to own two of the most desirable rims out there.

Style 32 edges it a lil cos of its uncanny resemblance to Alpinas. :D

Okay....now this is a tough one....both looks bloody handsome on a E34...think hard.... think hard

Judging from the stance of both the pics, my vote is on the 32. :top:

both looked great on your car

AC Schnitzer Type II --> 18x8.5 (all round: 235/40/18) : the rugged look......i'd go for this one anytime
BMW style 32 --> 18x8 (front: 235/40/18) 18x9 (rear: 265/35/18) : the alpina wannabe....:D...chantek also

Both are great looking rims...if don't plan to have AC bodykit on ur e34, stick with ur Style 32. If plan to have AC bodykit on ur e34 then stick to ur AC type 2..my 2cents..

Got it.... Decided on keeping Style 32 since I dont intend to get bodykit for the E34 and also the 18" AC is too small for E38.

AC Type II is up for sale then. I guess this is good news for kp61. You can have it this weekend.

aiyo julian.. i was trying to psyco u on keeping the ac.. and sell the 32 to me.... kah kah kah

Now you know it is hard to find 18" staggered style 32. heheheheh...

Most 18" style32 in the market are non-staggered.

have you ever thought of putting a 540i v8 type bumper for your ride? it'll certainly match your style 32 very well.

that includes mine. But putting wider tyres at the rear eg 265/35-18 does make it look staggered :)

How does it look like? I might have seen it. For ori bumpers, I would prefer 525i bumper over M5. I am not sure about 540i.
