what is CKD really?

hey guys just wondering if any of u know : the CKD units brought in (e90 320i sports etc) by BMW are the paintwork done in malaysia or germany? just curious..may the Rings be with u...

CKD means completely knocked down.... If you have joined us for the assembly plant visit, you would see first hand how the cars are assembled.
ckd cars are assembled locally and of course painter locally...
