3 months back, during routine service, the mechanic's voltmeter showed my MF battery (bought from AAM 2 years back) was showing slightly below optimum range.


so far car starts readily, no prob.....so should i change the battery now to be on the safe side or wait until the time headlights dim at startup?

i think the aam battery is licensed from yuasa.


hear that DIN66 is ideal for e36/46. where can i get din 66 delkor at the best possible price in PJ/KL?


meantime after more than a year, the air-cond compressor bearings are squeaking. time to replace them tomorrow at Naidu, my preferred mech.

change mine last month, took out the original BMW battery after 6 years and to my supprise, there is still battery water inside. but decided not to take further risk and change it anyway with delkor din 85 for 450. cant believe that a battery can last for 6 years. it is because BMW original battery is good or because it can last due to storage in boot compartment?

barvarian auto quoted me 650 for original E46

recently changed mine to din 100. that's the max size that can fit an e46. the original bmw battery lasted almost 6 years.

for better performance and especially to avoid idrive memory to be gone...its better to change once in 2 years time

Hoppecke(or something like that) is quite good. 2+ years and still strong

Mine ori is DIN55, I am thinking of going DIN66... Din know that it can go up to DIN100 for E46... In Sabah, I reckon Delkor is the best one can get, I mean value for $$$.

I understand the original one will last at least 3-4 years. Mine already 4 years. I was quoted RM 400 for Din 88 (MF).
