Fun in the rain.. that's all I can say...
The session start at about 1.30pm with light drizzle. The first group who went onto the boat were:
1. ILV
2. Krazeepete
3. Fabian (Me)
4. RBL
Krazeepete was the first to take the rope doing his kneeboarding routine and attempted to ski barefoot. but the water was a little to choppy to ski barefoot so he switched to wakeboarding. He did the few of us a favour by showing how 'easily' it can be done.....
Next in the water was ILV. Latok was indeed getting better with this session compared to the last one. He was able to stay above water most of the time and maanged to draw cheers from those on the boat.
Then it was my turn.. :nyehehe: Managed to do my launch better this time around but still need to improve on my weight distribution. My hip is too far back putting more weight on my back leg. I shud be putting the weight on the front leg. Anyway, the rain started pouring while I was on heat... So no care to the rain, kept on going since it was still safe to go on.
After my turn was RBL's turn, the rain got heavier but it could not douse RBL's enthusiasm to try it for the first time... He is a fast learner and managed to get up after 3 attempts... :yes!:
ILv and I took turn to get back into the water for second run. By this time, the rain had slowed down quite a bit. Frankly speaking, it's warmer in the water then to sit on the boat. The wind really send chills down ur spine. Krazeepete and I can attest to that.
The 2 mysterious ladies came and join us for some fun in the wet. The ladies seem to be better at getting off the water. We concluded that they are probably more relaxed and hence the ease and another probable factor is the difference in body weight distribution
The sky opened up again and by this time the 2nd group has gathered on the pontoon. Those who boarded were:
1. Mysterious Lady 1
2. Mysterious Lady 2
3. Magicfox
4. bmwky
5. OSF
The few of us were relegated to the shore. 520i was there to soak in the rain with us.
Here's a shot from the lake side... Not sure who was it..
XXX later joined us on the pontoon. We can't see much of the action since the boat was on the FAR side and it seem to be at the same spot most of the time... However, we managed to found something to laugh about.... too many things actually... from thiller soundtrack ringtone and Tarzan's yell ringtone to music from the average age group's era... There were some other topics but better not say anything.. h34r:
the 2nd group finally got tired and came back to the pontoon. Now krazeepete wants another run to do his barefoot skiing... He started again with the kneeboard..
BAREFOOT!!!! :yes!:
Back to wakeboarding... This is how it's done...

Some of us stayed back for hot beverages and tok kok cool down session before heading home....

Had crazy time in the rain on the pontoon with the fellas..... spend mucho time joking and kidding arnd....
When i joined the boat ride on krazeepete's last ride, it was getting late... so didnt wanna jump in.... in case got hooked on and then it was too late for second rounds.... fark then.... so decided to do it next time....
All in all, great company despite the weather....
