Gatal need ubat gatal, stablelizer and grounding wire won't help. heheh.....
sesat88;203182 said:nikrazali.... chill lerr....... joke joke la....
actually i be getting one stabilizer thingy over the weekend.
why... my bulbs getting blown..... voltage fluxing lerr... prob get one display as well.......... other than that reason... i also gatal... hahahahah!
jarance;203196 said:bro, if your bulb blow, first check what is the output voltage from the alternator. They should be around 13.2 to 14.5 VDC. Any thing more will caused your bulb and other equipment to malfunction prematurely.
If you have over voltage problem, putting a voltage stabilizer will not solve your problem. As the name imply, it stabilized the voltage. You need a voltage regulator. A voltage regulator will regulate your voltage. Basically a regulator will output a constant voltage when the input voltage varies. say a 12 V regulator will output 12 VDC when the input voltage varies from 12 to 18 VDC. if the input voltage falls below 12 VDC, the output voltage will follow the input voltage. But putting various size capacitor, you can reduce the ripple voltage in order to get better stabilty.
so a voltage stabilzer would stablized your voltage to 17 VDC if your alternator output 17 to 17.5 VDC.
So check your voltage regulator.. first.
sesat88;203203 said:Yup ... you are quite right on the regulator. Thanks for the advice. I checked the Voltage over last weekend and shows roughtly around 13.5V like that. I suspect that my alternator is acting up hence the power fluxs, and most likely the regulator may be dying.
Getting the stabilizer and voltage monitor is just a way to see what's going on hence the itchness loh. Besides that I am using the wrong voltage for the bulbs... maybe that contributes too..![]()
jarance;203325 said:Now this is what I call gatal.. You think your voltage regulator might be faulty but you want to install stabilizer...![]()

I thinking is all hype and full of crap.

Hahahaha... i followed the links last time... very interesting read!
i just gatal la.... half the ppl say it do wonder, the rest say it jackshit.
Me.. i sesat totally so i go try la..... if it doesn't work in my car... i change it to my wife Myvi. Hee hehehehhehe!
