Hi guys,I intend to swap my current run flats and m-sport rims for a set of used oriignal used M5 rims and Dunlop DZ-1 tyres. Any comments on these tyres guys? and to the best of your knowledge, how much do these tyres retail for?? I have been quoted Rm1200 per piece. The Used M5 rims are Rm6000 per set.

the DZ-1 does not costs so much...i have tried it and returned it to the shop one day later...coz he claim better than PP2...

new M5 rim i think u can get it for RM8k max

i think the person markup to cover the costs of ur 'trade-in' price...

Thanks Tribena for the swift response. Appreciate that. :top: Comments on the Tyres are duly noted.I initially intended to get Continental Sport 3 tyres but they are way too expensive and hence the dealer suggested Dunlop DZ-1. Any other suggestions??

However as for the rims, are you saying that RM8k is the price for a new set? In your opinion ,is Rm6000 reasonable for a used set?

price is subjetive to buyer seller willingness...if u can accept the rm6k price then go for it and dun look back...:top:

Hello, I'm newbie here. Just bought a E60 520i recently. And the stock rim is extremely small. don't like the look of it. Looking thru bmw website and I found M5 has huge set of alloy wheels. Can I fit that those on my 520i? What are the size of the M5 wheels and tyres? can anyone comment on that? your help is much appreaciated. Thanks.

dear all,

I've got a quick question here. I am ow using the normal 16" rims on my 525, if i wanna change to 19" M5 rims, do i have to change the spring or anything to make it lowered. Just checking coz tyhis will add up to the total cost. Thanks.

Thanks guys.:wink:Your comments are duly noted. The rims are in perfect condition. Its just that i suspect the tyres are being offered at a much higher price to me. Any input on how much a set of new 19" Dunlop DZ-1 tyres retail for ??...i was offered RM4800 a set.

Of course you can...you can fit anything as long as your pockets are deep enough  M5 wheels come in 19" so your tyres too got to go. You can try 245/35/19 for front tyres and 275/30/19 for back tyres . The original size is 245/40/18.

Try Autofuture. They sell after market rims such as Breyton. I wouldn't suggest replicas as thier quality is of lower grade. They bend easily.
Go for 19" unless you want a more agressive look, then 20" it is.

Hi, where can I get reasonable price for replica M5 (K-speed, K-II) wheels? Pls provide contacts, or website. Thank you so much.
