What is the Road tax structure like for diesel's (with euro whatever compliant engines)

Petrol 2.5 How much? Diesel 2.5 how much? If 3.2?

How many km more per litre would diesel give compared to petrol assuming its the same engine capacity..

2.5 diesel is around RM900, not much diff from petrol 2.5

Hilux hv good resale value than Triton. Triton more powerful than Hilux. Hilux save fuel than triton, Hilux more easy to get spare parts. Triton comfortable than Hilux.

Road tax for these 2.5D should be RM2,000 in WM. Am I right? RM125 in Sabah n Sarawak.

I suggest u go to Honda CRV or RAV4. Mayb freelander 2.0D (road tax RM90in Sabah &Sarawak) not bad also. All of them more suitable driving in city n parking.

Bout resale value of Hilux, i manage to sell my '06 for rm63500 to a used car dealer. Should fetch at least another 5k if i advertise it but didn't bother. Everything bout the car is above satisfactory except power wise, it'll lose out to triton and not to mention the newly launched triton 3.2, 343 Nm and 160 ps.
Don expect to save much from fuel consumption with the current diesel rate.

if you're gonna go big, might as well go as big as you can. and (sadly) it doesn't get any bigger than the 3.2 lit triton that drags @ 340nm@2k rpm. indisputably the most powerful pickup in the market now.

plus it provides you the passport to wear tight g2000 tshirts and die your hair blonde so you can hang out with the evo club.

Hilux hesitate to pull off while standstill & Hard to go higher once reach 120km/h
Considering nowadays people buy pickup for transporting goods and spend most of the time on Highway, Triton is better.

Hilux's city drive fuel consumption BAD.

A very popular car for car thieves.

SUPER uncomfortable, you will puke if you just had your meal.

Overall a regrettable purchase of the Hilux.
The only good point I can think of is the resale value.
My dad's Hilux got stolen and insurance company MSIG compensate a good amount of $$
Didn't rugi much there.

Hilux if u wanna reliable workhorse and good resale ans service support.the pick up of choice definitely in sarawak/.///plus facelift launch on oct 10 2008...
