Tips when selling your car to avoid car robbery during 'test drive'

Hi guys.. I'm in the middle of selling of my car. But then, i've think of the worse scenario of being robbed of snatched during the test drive session with the potential buyer ( or potential robber)...as we read in newspaper nowadays, alot ppl being roobed and their car were snatched away. Futhermore, during the test drive, the stranger will be driving the car, thus is the perfect timing for them to do their nasty job. Do you guys have any tips to share as a safety precaution to be taken during the meet up and test drive with the new stranger? I'm sure lots of you guys will benefits from this topic especially to the direct owner who is sellinf off their car...

if u are so worry about it, suggest u direct sell to car dealer.
It could be the risk u hv to take if u want to make slight additional by selling to direct buyer.

Maybe bring your friends along for the test drive so there's 2-3 of you in the car.

Having sold 4 cars myself, common sense can be used.

Meet in your area so your familiar with the roads/people/area.
Bring along a large friend haha
Usually genuine buyers will ask questions, look in & out before going for a test drive. If one asks for a drive immediately, somethings up.
If the "buyer" comes with anyone else, tell them to wait at the spot (with your friend perhaps) while you & the potential buyer go for a test drive.
Try leaving as little fuel in the car as possible.

bring pepper spray just in case bro. limit the distance to test drive as they can stop anywhere to rob or else whack and dump before took off in your car. last week i test drove a new car with my fren and only a female sales person joining in the ride. wonder how would she felt having to be driven by strangers every now and then... take care dude

..i guess, by sitting behind, you have way more options to control eventual 'issues' with potential robber in your car, rather than sitting side by side..
