(BMW E90 front - kidney grill) + VW Passat body + enlarged Honda City rear = 2008 Accord ..

I think between 2007 Camry and 2008 Accord, I prefer Camry..

Much nicer exterior overall than the previous gen. Front looks like an enlarged Civic front.

Is it an Accord tradition that its hand brake always appear to be emphasized by
the interior designer with its high position? I think it ruin that area.

Only if honda could make their interior more sporty like our lovable bmw. Couldn't help but feel like uncle driving everytime i stepped into the driver's seat.Exterior already ok but then this car IMO for conservative type people.

Just saw the promotional video and review at youtube. Can you believe a full-specced car with Sat Nav and Bluetooth phone interface is only US$30,800 in the US?!!! Oh, this version is the same as the one in US!

It looks better than the initial pics i saw of the USDM accord esp the rear. Size wise its a much bigger car than the previous gen accord. I believe this Tom Yam spec Accord in the pics are based on same platform as the USDM and Euro accord will be different just like the Civic as well.

Should fare well against the current Camry I think.

No doubt it look better than previous model but I wonder why my fren told me that my old bimmer feel better after test drive the accord.

Drove the 2008 2.0 and 2.4 for 6 weeks. its ok i guess. I'll stick to the E60 5Series any day. But there are a lot of improvements compared to the Previous accords. The interior is very nice on the 2.4, but on the 2.0 its still very dull and boring beige. Mind u the interior in the 2.4 is actually better than the E60 5 series, but then again the question is will it last as long as a UDM? Handling in the 2.4 isnt bad with the new gen VSA and the VGR they have improved. roughly 175k for the 2.4 and 148k for the 2.0. at the 175k, i would opt for an E36 M3 ('94 model) and then get another second hand car.

In terms of performance the accord 2.0 and 2.4 won hands down.the new 2.4 accord has been given a 10Bhp upgrade to the actual current one. from 170-180bhp. the New 3.5 V6 Accord which will not be coming here through Honda malaysia, but maybe Grey imported is 275Bhp on paper.

As for size it is i think 80-90mm longer if im not mistaken

Interior both accords won, Sound proofing the camry won, engine quietness camry won. Handling and stability both accords raped the camry thats how bad the camry is. Trust me i know we had to compare the camry's against the New Accords. for 6 whole weeks.
