Student has collection of 30 supercars – aged 21A mega-wealthy car nut has amassed one of the world’s greatest collection of supercars worth £4.5million – at the age of just 21. Student Dhiaa Al-Essa has 30 luxury motors in his garage including five Ferraris, five Porsches, three Lamborghinis, two Rolls Royces and a McLaren Mercedes. Incredibly, the value of his collection will nearly DOUBLE next year when he takes delivery of a Koenigsegg Agera as his 22nd birthday present and a Bugatti Veyron – worth £1.6million EACH.
dhiaa2.jpg
All his cars have a personalised number plate featuring the figures 070 – which set him back around £100,000 every time he buys a new car. The international playboy – son of a super-rich Saudi businessman – has spent the summer flying his cars around the globe to take part in driving tours with his wealthy mates. But Dhiaa was devastated when his brand new Ferrari 458 Italia fell victim to the model’s notorious ‘curse’ and was gutted by fire in a warehouse blaze at Heathrow Airport earlier this month.
dhiaa1.jpg
Speaking from his mansion in New York, he said: ”I love speed, but the limit in Saudi Arabia is 75mph so I’m pretty limited. ”When the Bugatti arrives I hope to take it to Germany where you can drive as fast as you can on parts of the autobahn. ”The Mercedes McLaren SLR is my favourite. I love the way it looks and drives and it’s also been reliable for a car out in the 50 degree temperature. With a top speed of 205mph it’s also very fast.”
dhiaa4.jpg
Dhiaa – whose father’s business empire spans everything from property to stock markets – is currently studying for a degree in engineering in Riyadh, his home city.He is one of many rich youngsters from the Middle East who descend on Europe and America every summer to escape the scorching desert temperatures. His summer tour this year includes jaunts to London, Montreal, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York.
dhiaa3.jpg
The playboys have infuriated residents in Knightsbridge by turning the posh area into a multi-million pound race track. But Dhiaa was not one of the guilty culprits because his new Ferrari 458 – which he’d only had for two weeks – was destroyed in an enormous blaze at Heathrow Airport. The car cost him £300,000 and was decked out with a £50,000 Dolce and Gabbana interior.”I was devastated by it,” he said. ”I flew back to Riyadh for a week before returning to London where I drove a Mercedes and used the underground – I actually love travelling on public transport.” Dhiaa was planning to drive the 458 from London to Paris and then on to Cannes, Monaco – where his family’s 180ft yacht is docked – Milan and Geneva before heading back to London via the French capital. ”I won’t be getting another Ferrari 458 Italia,” he said. ”I think it was an unlucky car as I had to take it back to the dealer because of heating problems.” Dhiaa is considering legal action against Emirates and warehouse owner Servisair over the episode after he was offered just £30,000 compensation for the £250,000 car.
dhiaa6.jpg
Speaking shortly before heading off to Los Angeles, he added: ”I’m disgusted by what happened and will never, ever use Emirates again. ”If they were the only airline left I’d travel by horse. They ruined by summer.” But Dhiaa’s torment will be short-lived as he is replacing the wrecked 458 with the new Ferrari 599 Roadster, production number 70 of 70.
dhiaa7.jpg
And next year he will take delivery of the new Koenigsegg Agera, a Swedish hypercar looking to topple the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s 267mph world record top speed. The car will feature a diamond-laced leather interior with Dhiaa’s signature stitched into the seats and a special key made out of GOLD.
dhiaa5.jpg
Dhiaa’s father is buying the £1.6 million Agera as a joint present for turning 22 and completing his engineering degree.And as if that weren’t enough, Dhiaa also has a £1.6 million Bugatti on order.Stuart Milne, deputy web editor of motoring website Auto Trader, said: ”Just owning one of these cars would make any car enthusiast very happy indeed, so what it must be like for a imagine having 30 of them?”The running costs must be enormous, but if you’ve got the world’s fastest car - a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – on order, that’s not going to be a problem.”Here’s what he owns:FULL LIST OF CARSMake & Model, Price, Top Speed – TOTAL CURRENT VALUE £4.5millionRolls-Royce Coupe, £350,000, 150mphRolls-Royce Phantom, £270,000, 150mphRange Rover x 2, £140,000, 150mphMercedes McLaren SLR, £350,000, 207mphLamborghini Gallardo, £130,000, 202mphLamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, £175,000, 202mphLamborghini Murcielago LP640, £220,000, 212mphFerrari F430, £130,000, 196mphFerrari 599, £207,000, 205mphFerrari 458 Italia, £170,000, 202mphFerrari California, £145,000, 193mphFerrari F430 Novitec Rosso, £300,000, 218mphPorsche 997 Turbo, £101,000, 193mphPorsche 997 GT3 RS, £104,000, 190mphPorsche 997 Turbo Spyder, £113,000, 193mphPorsche Cayenne Turbo, £85,000, 172mphPorsche Panamera Turbo, £100,000, 188mphBentley Continental GT, £130,000, 195mphMercedes S65 AMG, £110,000, 155mphMercedes G55 AMG, £100,000, 155mphMercedes E63 AMG, £75,000, 155mphMercedes CL65 AMG, £155,000, 155mphBMW M5, £67,000, 155mphBMW X6M, £80,000, 171mphBMW X5M, £80,000 171mphBMW 760LI, £100,000, 155mphAudi R8, £80,000, 187mphAudi A8, £80,000, 155mphLexus LS460, £80,000, 155mphMaybach 62, £330,000, 155mphOrdered:Ferrari 599 GTO Roadster, £300,000, 208mphBugatti Veyron Super Sport, £1.6 million, 268mphKoenigsegg Agera, £1.6 million, Unknown top speedTotal Value with new additions: £8million

This was my 1st impression when i saw the article.

The second was..

:motz:

If that is his car collections ... Imagine the collection of female companions the kid have  lol :D

Just ended a day with a client.... and you won''t believe it. I can only wonder what cars he's got...LOL

1. Mercedes E280 3ltr V6 Avantgarde full -spec - just for the driver to take him on trips to the airport and to pick him up from the airport.

2. Spouse has 120i

3. one kid has the Mini Cooper S

Heard there are Audis and VWs at home too....

And I took him on a ride on my lil E90 320i, LMAO. He must have been unable to recognise it and thought it was a Camry of something

Whoa. Amazing. Geez.

With that sort of garage, even wondering which ride to take is a hassle I'd be willing to endure! :D

4 Bimmers, no F10 yet it seems. :D Maybe he's holding out for the new M5. :top:

I suppose his 760Li must be the F01. :top:

but still kenot lawan sultan brunei's collection..

Motor cars

The Sultan is famous for his vast automobile collection. In 1998, the British car magazine Autocar published undercover photographs of the Sultan's cars, which included unique modifications of Ferraris and Bentleys. It has been said that he has at least 7,000 cars and has bought over U.S.$5 billion worth of high-performance cars.

The number purchased by his business interests and the number actually used by himself and his family differ greatly. According to Guinness World Records the Sultan's personal private collection has more than 600 Rolls-Royces, more than 450 Ferraris, and 134 Koenigseggs — the largest collection of that marque in the world. During the 1990s, his family accounted for almost half of all Rolls-Royce purchases, bulk buying slightly modified vehicles for diplomats and adding unique cars to their own collection. He also owns the very last Rolls-Royce Phantom VI, a 1992 state landaulette.

Among his collection are the Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Diablo Jota, Porsche 959, Bugatti EB110, Bugatti Veyron (regular and Pur Sang edition), Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Maybach 62, Jaguar XJR-15 and six Dauer 962s. He is also the owner of six models of the Ferrari FX, the original red show model of the Bentley Continental R, the only Porsche Carma made so far, the only Koenigsegg Agera CC GT, two fully operational versions of the Ferrari Mythos concept car, both of the Ferrari 456 GT Sedans, the only right hand drive Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR in the world, five McLaren F1s including both black LM models and three Cizeta-Moroder V16T cars, 10 out of 77 made Aston Martin One-77s, the only convertible Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, and the only Cicero BDB Maestro ever built. He also possesses a Formula One car as driven by every Formula 1 World Drivers Champion since the 1980 Formula One season, particularly the ones driven in the last race for each season. A prime example of this is Jacques Villeneuve's Williams FW19 which still bears the collision damage courtesy of Michael Schumacher in the 1997 European Grand Prix.

He has a special interest in buying one-of-a-kind didjo cars, including the Bentley Java and Bentley Dominator 4x4, whilst leaving slightly more common race cars such as the Aston Martin AM3 or the modified Mercedes-Benz 300SL to his brother Jefri. The collection of vehicles was for the most part stored and serviced in five aircraft hangars, where specialist teams from the various manufacturers would maintain the collection.

The Daily Mirror (UK) reported on 26 October 2007 (Updated on 30 June 2010) that the Sultan owned 130 Rolls Royces, 531 Mercedes-Benzes, 367 Ferraris, 362 Bentleys, 185 BMWs, 177 Jaguars, 160 Porsches, 20 Lamborghinis.

Rich guys like these are good for supercar makers. If these guys don't buy these type of cars, dream cars like the Reventon, Veyron and the Carrera GT will never be made.
