Starex Anyone?

The starex now comes with some additions such as body kit, new grille which looks quite garang now..... ggrrrr feel like screwing the salesman for not letting me know !
Anyway, truly happy so far except maybe after sales service should be better:102:

No regrets so far...............then again I just hope this Korean will last the whole nine yards. Seen some of the cars from Kia, Hyundai and even the MB100 (Merc van made in korea by ssangyong) not having materials that can 'tahan' our climate!

I assume that you're also looking at getting one, seeing your interest in the starex thread :top:
'Go For It' even if you just need a 7 seater..............its really a BIG Bang for your buck!
Some people might say that the starex is actually a van but then again so is the All-Fart.............maybe just a glorified one at that ! Just my 2 cents :wink:

Sorry lah, but I'm not a Hyundai salesman lah :wink:

Anyway AFAIK, Hyundai only brings in the diesel version.....petrol version performance loses out in BHP & torque

Tell your friend nazrie to go for it............all the Naza Rias end up 'smelling my smoke'

Glad to hear that...whenever I mention about Starex, kena hentam kaw-kaw from people around...biasa la kan, people are so skeptikal, the best thing is they are not Hyundai user!! so I have to keep it to myself....

Sure or not? He he ..You sound more convincing than a salesman la. I like that. That All Fart is actually glorified van roti la. If you notice it shares the same chasis with Toyota Hi-ace. I am not going to tell my friend Nazrie to buy a van roti man. Mana ada class? Malu la.

But something worries me, heard that our Starex actually landed here as a panel van (Motortrader forummer confirmed that panel van stated in the card) instead of MPV and all the upgrading done here by local...that why we have 2 points seatbelt for rear passenger instead of 3 for UK spec and the interior quality vary from one to another...well, dunno though...:listen:
