Wireless streamyx only available at area whereby the infra is not by TM eg maxis, time etc. Yup wireless streamyx max bandwith is only 512k.
1Mb or 512k is the bandwith of yr connection. Its not the speed. Speed is measure in latency, how fast the data transfer from one point to another

Wau almost 1 second latency. FYI all this test the result on best effort and shared basis connectivity.

I didn't know that Maxis is promoting 3.5G but if they are, then you're rite. They are misleading the public. As it is, their 3G service sucks BIG time...

Hahaha my area is running on fibre and less user so not congest I dun download porn oso Yr bandwith is based on the account u log in cannot adjust. If can adjust I already set to 2Mb
Bandwith is just the highway that we access for data transfer.
Mine is faster coz I'm driving BMW on the highway and floored all the way kekeke

Are u the only user at that time ur doin the test? If yes ur getting all the bandwith for TM Net Hotspot as its using Streamyx 2Mb as the access. Dun say Maxis is crap, they are not concentrating on internet access as TM Net. Just buy TM Net Hotspot RM35 a month u got username that can access at all TM Net Hotspot nationwide unlimited. Sampai pagi pun bole if tak off equipment Alternatively those who has streamyx account can subscribe add Hotspot login for only RM10 per month. Lagi murah. Beli jgn tak beli
