Searching for M52b28 or s50b30 for sale?

Guys,i would to know where can i find those engine for my e36 and how much is the price for both of it?kl area.

is it just the engine or complete halfcut?
prices can vary from supplier to supplier, condition, goodies, etc...
S50B30 - US or Euro ? Both are different breeds altogether
a bit more specifics will help to get more accurate answers...

m52b28 should be ~circa 4k / halfcut ~circa 7-8k
this one is quite common so you can scout around chop shops to get the best deal

btw, what are you running on now?

Mine is the m52b28.but i think it is dead already as it got through a flashflood,i think theres no hope for it already.thats why im planning to get it again. But i havent sent it to the workshop to check but i think that theres no hope for it already. Where is the chop shop that i can get those engines?as i am from kuching.its very hard for me to find bmw engines.

Thanks for the info firdaus..and if i get a halfcut m52b28..is it just plug and play or otherwise?bcos i have read about the ew11 module and key.and what do i need to do as well?

m52b28 model will have ews. if damage from flash flood too bad. u need to convert everything from hcut. maybe u need just half cut-kepala depan .. no need to change the long-shaft and rear diff

if you want to replace yr current m52b28 then get an engine kosong or engine lantai and do a direct hardware swap.less headache and no ews issues to deal with.
be mindful that it is best practice to changeout all seals...ie crankshaft and related gaskets before fitting or otherwise you may have to redo if it leaks later or right after the first engine start.....
