WANT TO BUY ROLEX OR PANERAI, CHEERS, ALEX
pls be specific..which rolex or panerai model you are looking for. If you dont have both at the moment, i suggest you first get a Rolex then a Panerai. As for a Rolex..my suggestion is the Sports Model (Stainless Steel version only) and if Panerai is your first watch (get the base model with sandwich panel) and mechanically wound..after you have both of these as your base watch, then only go for rare or more complicated models...i.e Rolex Daytona or the Panerai Power reserve models..

Get Panerai Slytech or 1950 Flyback.

Daytona is overpriced, original price 26k, now premium price 38k for white face and 40 - 42k for black face.

Panerai is better, Rolex is Ah Beng watch for show off purpose.

Selling, buying, discussing??? No idea.. but i've never heard of Rolex or Panerai cars. So why is this in the cars for sale forum?? I'm towing this to General Discussions for the meantime.

For rolex you need to check few places like woohing, great wall, sincere watches etc.

the cheapest so far in KL by my exprience is woohing KLCC.plus they carry a lot of stocks on sports model like GMT Master 2, submariner, submariner date, sea dweller etc.
submariner series and GMT are popular, especially the black and white colour. sea dweller is thick and popular among kwai-los.
bought my GMT from klcc at 5% discount.

discount around 3-5% depending on your negotiation skills.

panerai.
sincere watches and some shops in starhill carry a lot of models. i bought my panerai power reserve from sincere watches. 20% discount.

there's a shop in sungai wang that carries ALL models of rolex and panerai. prices are a lot cheaper because they are not an authorised dealer. shop looks posh and heavily guarded. but, the doubt is there. any models that you cannot find elsewhere in KL, they have it.

example: submariner date is 16800 recommended retail price. after discount is 16000 if u were to buy from woohing klcc. but, this shop in sg wang is prepared to let go theirs at about 14500-15000 depending on your negotiation skills.

but i heard the shop was robbed 2 weeks ago..

20% is very good off Panerai. Energy managed to only sqeeze 15% when he got his GMT last year from Sincere, and this week we went to Sincere KLCC and they are now giving only 10% of list. On top of that, you'd be lucky to get a nice model, as all nice 44mm ones are snapped up by collectors who are on a waiting list. The KLCC sincere has ~4 pieces of 40mm ones which are not so popular and a waiting list for 44mm models. Each month they take in about 10 pieces which gets snapped up through private placement and phone calls.

High demand stuff man... So much for adjusting our lifestyles advise by our PM heh.

Go to Petaling Street, If you stand in front of Yuk Woo Hin restaurant facing outwards, there is a stall outside on the right. The Panerai there is RM150 each and looks damn good. :D

sorry to steal this thread, can someone tell me how much is an Audemars Piquet royal oak Jumbo auto?

thanks in advance

who says rolex is ah beng watch if someone afford to buy them?????
:getyourfactsright:
that means anyone in the forum wearing rolex must be ah beng then... :aggressive:

Chelsea, I like your comments! Isn't it still true that Rolex is the most liquid of all watch brands? I can't imagine trying to exchange a JLC Reverso for food in the Costa Rican jungle. Still, I wouldn't like wearing a Rolex in M'sia cos most people will stereotype you.

As I said, Rolex is not only a brand or watch, it is a jewel. Try go to "yee sook gung" and see what they offer for a Vacheron Constantin, Omega, GP or other brand. Not most people in Malaysia stereotype those who wear Rolex, ALL stereotype those who wear Rolex.

Rolex,Panerai? Exclusive?? Nah!

Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger Le Coutre

Dats more exclusive la..
