Dei, what car you bought? Get a good car and dun spend $$$ unnecessarily on the hop-ups!! I do have another spare car for sale, its fully hop-up with aftermarket accessories! Its the Kyosho Fw05RR shaft driven car.

I had been eying for model cars years back but as you say lots of waste $$ I scrap the idea and go for real car then my son knows my weakness on anything with to do with cars he brought back the model and say its for sale for upgrading and cheap with all even a golf bag for it I terus bayar and its starts and smooth running happy for it. have to get another to race with my son lah.
by the way I am still sexually fit cannot retire lah.

hay thanks Kevster, memang lah ni first day I visited hobby shop spent close to $300, on tyres x 4, $80, a small bando belt $32, 1 plug $17, all battery rechargable 12nos $54, slow charger cheap one $17, lock clips $13, gas $50, sponge inner bumper $16, total $279 and still more to get a new body perhaps a new chassic.
You are talking about the e30 M3 AC Schnitzer touring car shell, thats what I want lah after all I am not racing just for fun play only. Where did you see the body? I need one as the presant one not to my taste its a skyline and ada crack sikit.

there's a track at Glenmarie ( dirt & now tarmac as well ). Wonder where you guys play....Bundy?

am very impressed with the speed of the 1/10gas track cars......serious damage if you go offroad/to the wall.

used to play too....1/8 RWD buggy from Kyosho was my last car......now hung up, just like the planes n took Kevster's advice! he he he

Jules I am in Seremban, I was told by the only shop in Seremban in Rasah Jaya stocks many other hobbies & spares (his branch in ocean closed) 4 big boys lah, Kyosho spares susah not much of stock probably himself as he sells other makes I think. Bundy had same make as yours and alot of racers used that model I don't see why hard to get spares.
well I am a learner and start with 2nd hand and getting another maybe new to race with my son for fun only lah. the one I get maybe lousy model I don't know its Thunder Tiger but engine and exhaust change to a powerful one according to the owner I yet to learn lah. I don't fancy those battery models.
Well anything we are into always hot hot chicken shit if we slow down same as the real car once you stop means you will hang up for good.
I was always in love with machines just like classic cars now my sports car under cover untouch, used to be hot for years once stop its cold but still in the blood to do it....don't ministry of home affairs bising mati sure die one, was lucky when I get into models she did'nt make any sound so its fine, went to buy spares with her also she followed with interest to see what I look into, happy lah.

Uncle Rezzy, you should have told me that you got yourself a Thunder Tiger!!!

I have all the spares la!! Chassis, belts, upper deck, spurs, fuel tank and etc. All for RM 100 how??? ahahahahhaa

But Thunder Tiger is aledi outdated....more or less like a Kancil 660 versus Golf Gti (kyosho)!!

If you are just bashing around, get rubber tires la ( I can give you some since I no longer use it) but if there is a NEED FOR SPEED, foam is the way to go! As for engine, I think you should just get an OS-TR. There is some for sale at the RCtech.net forum. No point getting a powerful engine, the Thunder Tiger wont be able to withstand it hehehhe

the tyres I have got the solid sponge type I think slick tyres tak tau lah gatal already you can see what I have got.
Thanks Bundy for the help. :yahoo:

Abang Rezzy....

Hahaha u got sucked in eh ///

I retired after 15k ..

Aiyaa thunder tiger .. ah . Anyways no probs ..u can start here la.

Jut give a buzz if ya need any help. Cheers :D

I think if you are a beginer Thunder Tiger is fine coz is cheper to learn, for those more season HPI, Mugen, Kyosho is more of the kind, for the engine Nova Rossi/ Italy or RB/France both won many world title already proven. Taiwan engine is so, so but cheaper of course. Os engine Japan is also good more relaible and lasting.
Personnaly prefer mugen their car are design to take the speed and have full tuning and adjustment for both high speed and technical track. For more power gas go for tornado, U will have V power for your rc car.
If you are a serious rc guy go for pro kit, no taiwan engine or kit.

Sory just my 2 cents. :D :D
