Bro ! still got plenty of time to work wif it. No worries now. Wif twin charger it can run up to max 40 psi. So the car must really capable to take tat force. I believe the australian expert would give some advice to us to do it. Cause they had experience to run 3 unit of raptor charger into a V12 engine.

Cant wait to see tat moment.

You must understand to achieve such high pressure of boost doest come easy.
Anyway, what the australians are using are their big toys. V8s and V12s.
And i believe they are not using just any ordinary fuel and its for drag purposes.

Who is gonna to tune your car to 30 psi?? I mean the knowledge and experience to do so? On a BMW offcourse and ya, with a MOTEC M800...:stupid:

Guys, actually... instead of condeming, commenting on this raptor thingy..

lets' put our effort together to 'project' this 2bar installation and support him on all technical aspects..dun forget, we learn new things everyday and those involved will gain new knowledge.

For 2 bar install, going to have to lower compression to around the 8 to 8.5 anything more then that and engine will lose it's smoke, and everything stops working after the smoke comes out

after all, if this works out, we'll at least have someone who can tune slow cars for the rest of us.

python, u can still maintain a 10:1 cr, but u have to use race gas. of course depending if its just a pure drag car or a street legal.

but to build a street legal 1000hp BMW is a very tall feat. if it is a m'sian effort, this will definetely put us on the map. high hp jap cars are a dime a dozen nowdays. but a high hp BMW, now thats somethign else

i wonder if we have a 400hp daily driver on wheel modded bmw in m'sia yet? i dont mean a M50-from-factory-car, but a modded one. and no jap engines

u're on 8.4:1 cr? what pistons are u using? s/c or turbo? what ecu? sorry for the 20 questions, but not many FI players around :top: just getting info b4 i take d plunge.

h/g is 0.0120" thick.
garrett gt35r running with haltech e11.
