My take dunt be guinea pig to Sc, it will kill u. Better go for that has been tested and proven worldwide. For instance ASA, even alpina is using them. Tuning wise, i strongly urge to send back ur dme and let them do the remapping be it AA, Technik and ESS.

Outrun JDM, very hard lei... Diff. league...

Bro Ken ! The show is still going on. No worries. Cause need to prepare for the coming HPC event. So" main" wif 300+ bhp 1st la. Then onli tolak into mod. Still waiting for the parts to arrive. For instance : Twin Raptor R charger kit ( 20 psi each ), forge piston and conrod ( custom size ), valve and valve spring, Motec M 800 ( still considering ), Manual transmission ( getrag M3 ), MSD ignition ECU, MSD plug coil, MSD Sspark cable, Bigger injectors, Bigger fuel pump + extra, Custom size extractor ( locally made ), Bigger intake manifold ( locally made ), Port polish, E36 throttle cable type ( faster respond ), cams ( haven order yet ) & etc le.

From the math calculation ( from Australian ) i need at least 30 psi running at 8500rpm to achieve tat horsepower. SO see wats is the outcome le.

The GTR tat i met was runing a rb26 engine, 10000rpm rev cut. Did a 0 - 400m in just 8.5 second. 3rd gear already at speed 240kmh. No joke ! Sitting beside ! Scary feeling. No more getting up to tat car again unless i will be driving.
 
wow....take on a 1000hp car? good show. although i wonder if the engine, drivetrain can take the torque. but its good to see we're trying to push the ceiling higher.
 
Raptor, care to post up some pics of your car? I'm interested in seeing the engine bay. Curious how you're routing some of the piping and some of that fabricated work.

15k used? think i sold mine ASA Sk 1 too cheap 12k haha~~~

mine comes with the IC and all the piping.....oh well.. :cool:
 
That sucks, and people complaining my selling price for the Infinitas ASA SK1 with Stage 2 pully & belt with the upgraded bar & plate Tecknic FMIC expensive.

Let's all shout, "Wah! So expensive!" :top:

What clutch and tranny do you plan to run with? Jerico? Liberty?
Do you think you will able to push it to 30psi? thats more than 2 bar! =)
 
achiving 2 bar on a sc sounds impossible, but higher gains will be on turbo..

unless, unless

you are running like the drag V8's with vane superchargers along with delltoro/webber carbs..

Bro ! still got plenty of time to work wif it. No worries now. Wif twin charger it can run up to max 40 psi. So the car must really capable to take tat force. I believe the australian expert would give some advice to us to do it. Cause they had experience to run 3 unit of raptor charger into a V12 engine.

Cant wait to see tat moment.

I totally agree that regardless if it is a SC, turbocharger or electric supercharger for that matter, tuning is the most important thing . Getting the optimum a/f ratio,ignition is a balancing act dependent also on the level of mods to the car.

This raptor kit seems the most attractive at the moment due to the price but alittle concerned about the tuning bit. Also, at 10.5 to 1 compression for my stock engine, reliability is also at the back of my mind...

So you are looking at 400 whp?
what engine are you running on?
Who is your installer?

as ramsing says, 10.5 cr is good for the SC, instant tap of power at 2200 to 2500 rpm.. even the CSL runs based on 11.5cr...

i m not looking at 400whp, it's just a benchmark for me to achieve..currently 270hps is a lot to handle..

engine ? just a mere US spec S50B30TU engine..

installer is my mechanic, cos he has all the tools and knowledge to install ONLY. Tunning is from USA..or in Sg. BVO..
