I saw the accessory shop did this before with one kind of brand "Dynamix", but doubt the real function.

before you do, this product has it's good and bad.

good cause it's costs cheap, easy to work on, fits fine, does not peel off, can put double layer... can use as fire wall insulation with engine out.

Bad - working on it, you will get cuts like paper cut, cos of the foil, another main concern is, since the foil is metal material, it attracts heat and the cabin can get hot. The biggest problem, is the foil is a conductor of electricity, so while applying behind wire looms and open joint circuits, it can fuse blow and to trouble shooting can be nightmare.

nevertheless, it can be used where it is needed.

group buy...need to contact the supplier again.

pussy ... What you did was a very extensive job. A lot of work for sure. Wonder if the interior readings will be about 65db ...

yes, the cabin noise level was so low, no wind sound, somemore new door rubbers, seals, plus michellin's eco pro tyres. it was good. 6 days DIY.

top it up, the SPL level in the car was supereb from the ICE unit installed.

Do they plain type without the metal foil? Since they are mainly be used for interior and sound proofing and not heat barrier, I don't think the metal foil in not necessary.

pussy ... If done at shop it will set you back about >2k la ... You very rajin la ...

they did not have without the foil bro, this was a industrial foil/tar sealant, hence we tot it could be used for our cars. it did work.

it's called 'Sika Damp' that time.

As I mentioned - physically, the door sounded more solid when you finger-knock it from the outside and it feels heavier

The ride is more pleasant and since the cabin is quieter, your passengers could hear your farts even if you releases it slowly (dont talk about smelling it)
