hi there Joinh :4: at the moment i havent fix on the date as well as the place coz the only 1 series owner tat ive met is Grace, so right now *sorry moderator a bit off topic* im still waiting for respond from others :burnout: so far only u and mnas but mnas not able to meet up with us as he is in JB but i will surely drop by to see him when im there :rock:

Look at it this way,

~ its nice to gather all car enthusiasts and just talk about cars..
~ its niceX2 to gather UDM enthusiasts and just talk about UDM..
~ its niceX3 to gather UDM enthusiasts of the same model to just talk about their specific models..

Not all like big crowds, like me, shy ma .. so just gather 3-5 "liked" minded people of maybe of the same age range, or sex, or same car models, or pets lover, or loves to bake, or even ethnic background if u may, would be cosy, nice & preferred to some.. its individual preference and I will certainly respect their decision..

.. and this is a 1-series register thread.. we are all out of topic and I don't even drive a 1-series... pardon me for trespassing.. cabutzz...

Mr RB this is not about having our own seperate TT, what im trying to do here is to gather all the E87 owners as they seems to be left out.. Currently we do already have an official TT which i intend to encourage them to go if I manage to gather all the E87 owners..

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there any E87 owners around during the weekly TT?? I believe there is nothing wrong in doing our own TT as long as we still respect the Official TT :4: if later on they decided they want to merge which others TT there is no harm in tat right??

U should encourage the effort tat im trying to do here not the other way around :rock:

Well past is past, let me make it clear here, I have no intention to create another group or whatsoever, like I said E87 seems to be left out, what im trying to do is to encourage them to be more active...

My opinion..

Agree with Astroboy. No worries RB, we are not creating additional TT sessions from the official TT. And everyone is encouraged to join official club functions.

We would like to gather the 1 series for a "get-to-know u & let's talk about our 1 series" session. There'll be common issues to discuss. Like when Salina & I met, we had more to chat about our cars as we have something in common.

So 1 series owners can please PM ur contact number to Salina or me. We'll coordinate. Thanks.

I dont mean to be rude, but like i said, i dont see any other E87 owners except for me and Grace, even during the monthly weekend drive im the only E87 around.... Probably they feel shy coz there is not many E87 around... tat is why i came out with the idea of doing our own TT so tat we can get to know one another then later on encourage them to merge with other TTs...

I personally do not like unnecessary problems and attention.. if my GOOD intention seems to look like im trying to create another group then might as well i keep quiet and mind my own business..

Maybe... maybe.... RB can help me to encourage the rest of E87 owners to join weekly TT as well as Official TT :22: I wanna see how many turns up...

I'll keep my mouth shut from now on and let RB handle it :33:

Ok maybe you dont know the history abt what happened so I dont blame you.
But something like that happened not once but twice thats why RB abit concern thats all, but he was not discouraging you , just giving his opinion.

So dont be discouraged, Im sure RB and all of us here will gladly help you and grace in making this a success.

Well to me, there are few types of gathering that we are having here:

1) Official gathering held once a month whereby everyone get together
2) Weekly gathering held on weekly basis whereby everyone get together
3) Area gathering whereby those from a particular area get together
4) Specific model gathering whereby those with specific model will get together
5) Activity gathering like bowling, futsal, bak kut teh, car clinics, monthly drive, etc

No matter which gathering, we all are bimmer lovers. We love our rides and enjoying it everyday... Just no right or wrong
