Hi guys, does anyone know which porche calipers model will fit a stock e34 24v?

Actually bro ... if you got the will and moolah then you can fit any calipers ... Point being there's an E34 M5 fitted with Porsche Carrera GT calipers featured in a bmw magazine (performance bmw mag)

Get a radial mount caliper for easier fitment.

thansk again loafer... hehe.. you know which models are plug and play, no need mod/custom? i saw one of u guys have proche calipers on e36.. damn cool lah... hehe.. TQTQ

Radial mount won't be plug and play. Google radial mount and you'll know how the fitment is like. You still need to make a bracket but a radial mount bracket is easier to fabricate and adjust to make the caliper fit.

I'm not sure about e34 la cause i dunno what OEM rotor sizes they have for e34. Cheapest alternative is to find what bigger rotors from other BMW models that can fit on the e34, then from there you can figure out what calipers can fit those rotors. That way at least you won't spend a bomb buying new rotors every time.

Both me and Kenneth (whom you met last week at TT) have porsche calipers on our car. Mine is from a Porsche 986, whereas Kenneth's is from a Porsche 996. Both use different rotor setup but Kenneth's setup has the option of using 345mm rotors from the E46 M3 CSL.

Mine I use the E46 330 rotors which is 325mm.

There are plug and play BBK(big brake kit) u can buy off the shelf but not sure if they still produce it for E34...
The BBK comes with the calipers as well as the brake disc rotors...

google for wilwood, stoptech, grippen etc...

alternatively, u can try fitting the 4 pot calipers from the E38 to the E34...

What is the minimum wheel size to clear the 330 rotor and 986 caliper? Can still fit with M-Contour II or need minimum 18"? Thanks bro..

i once tried e34 540i. the mountings wont fit. need to custom..
does anyone know the specs for the 540i brakes?

If you wanna improve the braking system ,you can looking the e38 750 brake kit,it come with huge 2 pot 334mm x 32mm,but needed custom make the bracket.braking surface both 70 mm to pad and rotor.

thx mate,
1.custom brackets cost quite a bit, is it worth doing it for little improvement in brake power?
2.would fitting in the e34 M5 brake pump help my braking power?
tq.
