NO issues using ron 95 of any brand on my golden years e30 and 335. rempit as usual and no knocking. FC is really based on how hard you floor the pedal, how you cruise, what gears, traffic and etc. Want good consumption get diesel. still think its expensive, go for hybrid. ( maybe its d sames as diesel ). And last of all, get a 250cc motorcycle. Used to remember in my younger days driving proton, during the cash strap period of the month with minimum fuel in the tank, i would put on free gear each time i see a slope, and shut down the engine at traffic lights...huhu

I only use RON 95 and in fact this grade of fuel is also approved for use by BMW. Of course the RON 97 gives a little more power but it won't makes much difference if you are driving a 2 litre and above.

My Car is F10 535i and even SA advised that i should go for RON 97, if not Engine might have some issues. So now i just Pump V-Power Racing or RON 97 if i cant find V-Power Racing Pump.

No problem with RON 95 on my 318i - i remember reading the bmw specs for petrol on this car's manual even 92 is ok

My "Owners Handbook" also states 'Do not Fill the Tank with any Petrol below 91 RON, as otherwise the engine could be damaged' This simply means i can Fill my Tank with RON95, but why i didnt follow the Handbook instructions was just that on the first Page of the Handbook it is Written:

Owner's Handbook
523i
528i
535i

So am confused if they were actually talking to me (535i) about Refueling or others (523i or 528i)
