I once went into a luxury watch shop in my t-shirt and Bermudas as I ran out of shops to walk whilst waiting for my wife. The sales person told me that men typically do not care much of their outlook except for their watch and car. Think she was relating about my t-shirt and Bermudas whilst trying to sell me the luxury watch.

Somewhat true... But it all falls back on your own level of comfort.

Bro, I believe we dress to please ourselves, what others think is not important. I dress with what makes me comfortable and most times its just an old tshirt, bermudas and slippers. Enjoying the drive is more important for me.

That's your personal freedom and interest. Some rich guy only drive an old car. Super rich people like Warren Buffet is also very low profile. So, depends on which area you love to spend. Some people spend on drink/night life, some people spend on properties, cloth, watches, handbags, travels and bla bla bla....some people could be very stingy.

for me....it doesnt mean when u drive fancy car u need to buy those branded things n eat at exclusive place. i do sometimes (maybe always) eat at warong n wear cap ayam things....who cares.....the most important thing is, u r comfortable with that.....dun ever bother what people say. it is your money not theirs.
