Just a off topic to all the bros down here....met my Senior friend yesterday and told him about my new BMW F30(which i booked) and he said its funny since i need to upgrade lot of things before i buy or drive BMW.....he told me my jeans and shirt not branded, same goes to my shoes ,my hphone and watch. Not to say that im not affort buy those things but for me i feel like no need to spend that much for those things apart from property ( FOR ME A NICE DECENT HOUSE 1ST)....soo its that true guys b4 drive or buy BMW must upgrade those things 1st......My senior upgrading those thinngs for the time being .....and conti cars will be next year project for him.......feel confused.....

LoL! Certain segment of the society do think that way. They attach class and hierarchy to almost ALL things in life, including people. So if they buy a BMW, they must wear a certain brand of things, go to certain place to eat and play, and of course mingle with certain type of people.

Others are blind or don't care for this type of thinking, so they happily drive their new BMW with Bata slippers while wearing Casio watch to Tesco :)

one of my senior friend who didn't wear any branded, but he bought his 528i in cash... lol
wear branded doesn't mean u had the taste. most important are how u match ur outfit. :)
improper wearing will make u look dumb or funny event with all those hi-end branded fashion wear.
Just my own opinion:eek:

There are various type of ppl with different personality, thinking, behavior. Just be yourself and practice anything u like as long as didn't against law. *just my 2cents* :)

wearing shorts n Japanese sandals (selipar jepun) yet driving a bmw is more cool bro....need not to upgrade all the mention3d above .... but to upgrade 1st then only get a udm....that is a total myth....

the other person is not the one paying for your ride or stuff. end of day......you wear or do what you feel comfortable with. while conformity to society's perception might be considered priority to some, be your own man.

my X manager also say me wear Lousy T-Shirt (with hole) but drive a BMW

driving a bmw wearing pasar-malam t-shirt still look much much cooler than driving a proton with branded DKNY shirt ..

I use/wear cheap stuff so that i have more money to mod my BMW. ; )

At the end of the day, its not the branded items that makes the man.

So to answer your question, up to you lah, you have the resource then why not, but its not a pre requisite to own a BMW.

I don't like unnecessary attention especially when I'm going out with d car so only decent short & shirt feels more secure than wearing those bling2 stuff....i feel even more secure if ppl don't know me driving a bmw ;)

By any chance your senior is a forummer here with a nickname of jennypenny? Muahahaha..

There's no right or wrong to this subjective question. Like other bro mentioned here it is entirely up to you and what makes you comfortable. If matching branded stuff with your BMW is what deem comfortable in the eyes of your perspective then by all means do it.

But I like the idea of short, singlet and slipper :top:

A very Good Morning to you Satrian3 and All.

Yes i truly feel the same with all brothers here have said .
The best way is be yourself plus be around the people or good friends
who can accept and happy just the way you are .....my friend. :) Well i still
remember when i had to drive my niece's car Viva while my car at the workshop,
I got a lot of negative look given to me!!! but its okay. It make me understand more about
Human :)

Cool , Relax and A Good Laugh..

Take care to All and have a very good day.

Alby325i :):)

I wear pasar malam T-shirts too.

Your senior Jennypenny got class, BMW, bling bling stuff, expensive watches, and I assume he/she got dog eyes too? still on holiday? Or no guts show up in here?

Depends on how you want to roll...

I've friends who wear 10+ years trainers, torn/seasoned jeans and free tees and they drive AMs, Ferraris, Poks.

Me? I drive with my 15+ years loafers/trainers, torn shorts and free club tees or at most IT branded tees like HPs, Compaqs, IBMs! Hehehe...

For me, driving an expensive car does not make the person, never does and and never will. And that goes for expansive watches, branded shoes, clothes etc either.

It is the grey matter between those ears and humility that does :)

I believe in dressing appropriately and presenting oneself in accordance to a particulate situation without compromising comfort, and it should not be intertwined with vanity or social status. You can still look presentable without branded items, yet be driving a Porsche.

You don't need a to dress classy to drive a BMW. Look elsewhere, BMW is not that expensive and most often driven by ordinary people like us who enjoys the drive rather than enjoying the attention they get from envious stares.
