Hi everyone ,I am new member here. I'm using 525i since 2008. Something sad happen when last month a bottle of water splash out in my bonnet and coz of PDC control error. Just survey a BMW Service Mechanic around Batu Caves which cost nearly 2K. Need help from u guys who experinced it. Any other mechanic can offer cheaper than this one?Thanks a lot.
 
I assume yours is E60.... each PDC unit(located at your bumper) cost around RM450.......

:39: very unlikely the "water splash" can result in your PDC to go haywire :39: You sure its the root cause of your PDC to malfunction? Maybe you can go to any BMW outlet to hv it diagnosed first.
 
yaa.... it's E60. are u sure rm450. can u suggest any bmw service outlet? how can they quote till 1K++..
 
probably cheaper at ebay but yes the price is still crazy considering the after market parking sensor, full set probably cost less than RM450.

try to find out which sensors and clean it up..otherwise change. Simple job.... I think you can just go to any BMW sparepart shops and replace on your own
 
there is water in the connection plug.. newer bmw's have this kind of problem..
