Any bro's can advice me on the Nissan Fairlady 350Z year 2003 ? 1) Any service center in KL or ?? 2) Maintenance ? TQ

i dun like it lo. i prefer STi or RX8, i toyed with 1 of it, aint that fast, want Nissan get R34 la.

I had a short drive in it a while back in Perth. I agree with ace99, no kick, all show and no go esp. when comparing to the previous 300ZX Twin Turbo I had many years ago.

Also the dashboard/plastic interior creaked when the car climbed up ramps one front wheel at a time, which leads me to belive the chassis aint that stiff.

Service and maint here in KL, donno la.. Will be much harder to get parts and expertise compared to other jap sports cars u see a lot in the streets here.

Thanks man.

Yeah... especially the parts... make me worried.

Some how I will test drive the car this weekend.

My alternative choice will be RX8 than...

Thanks again.

rx8 has a recall , i dunno the detail. better check with rotary club ppl

make sure u check with the right 'rotary club' ppl.. not to be confused with Rotary Club from secondary schools... :D

Hmmm, i though 350 Z is great

Sat and tested one simple turbocharged b4, the feeling is good

Take a look at The Fast and Furious 3, and you will be surprised

My last choice will be a RX8, for me to buy RX8 i will choose Nissan S15

Happy Sourcing

Tested the car last weekend, the car was awesome ........ just worried the part..... unlikely bimmer we can easy to get the used or new part. Most of my buddy advice me not to GO for 350Z. :-(

btw, do u know the 3.5V6 is taken from Renault Vel Satis. not from Nissan.

hhhhh... who 's know the uncle also own the RX8.....
I have an uncle that drives a blue RX8. Acutally, his wife drives that and they are close to their 60s. Pretty strange. My aunt tell me that sometimes boy racers would drive up to her and say nice car... etc... she would smile and drive off.

As for the 350Z, well, what can I say, I drive that car when it was debut in the US almost 2 years back. Its pretty nice to look at but it doesn't seem to have feel that rocks you back in your seat like the STis or Evos. Its still pretty quick, but the very linear power band makes it feels a little slow. Thsi car is also a little heavy and you can feel it in the steering.

If this car suits your needs, go for it. But from a more performance oriented need, I suggest you look at the STis or Evos.
Just curious, I know that car is awesome, but awesome in what way? Is it the faster car you've driven? Awesome cause you can get chicks? do explain. Don't worry about getting used parts. This is a Japanese car, part from Nissan are very easily obtainable. I can't imagine it being more expensive than most high end BMW sports cars.

There are few for sale in the market now...unreg 2002 and 2003 going for 228k neg. Nice car but not fast.

Hi

I ought to disagree with some of u regarding the power of Nissan 350Z. The power of that car is awesome. RX8?? No way the Mazda can compete with it.

how do I know? cos I have one and tested all. However I agree that 350z have the look but the interior is a bit tacky...plastics all over..
mine is a Wald tuned though...bought new.

Anyway, smartcorp , buy the car u feel its 'you'! Opinions can make u confused..
