i believe that most Malaysians (maybe 7 out of 10) who had their 1st car as Proton (with all the unbelievable bad experiences) will not have their 2nd, 3rd or any future car as Proton...even for those ppl have no money they will rather go for Perodua. So no matter what car they launch next at whatever prices, most ppl will ignore...Proton is doomed, in my honest opinion...nothing personal against them just facts.

Times have changed, Proton does not monopoly anymore and the certainly has no edge..."Proton" - a perceived bad brand of cars, even for Malaysians - Do you guys agree?

Well, that's why they keep wanting to look for a partner. Come on...sell means sell lar...some more say looking for partner, still want to jaga muka.

Having said that, Gen2 Sedan looks very bad...hurts my eyes....does their designers has any sense of taste ?...........Sorry man..can't help it, as a tax payer, i consider myself part of the shareholder....hate it to see it run this way.

We all had our bad day wt Proton!!! but i would give a thumbs up to Perodua...at least their marketing strategy works...

I drove a Proton and had fond memories.....it did 2 track days happily with me and I drove the almost the length of Malaysia and into Singapore with it.

Whilst I do think the Proton Management can do better, there are many dedicated & talented ppl working in there too...just like any organisation.

Give these guys the support and break.....

Yes, I have moved on to other car marques but I wun rubbish Proton also.....cos I remember my roots. If you can afford a BMW, be thankful.....

Jules, i'm not saying we should forget our roots. But come on, after 20 plus yrs in action, still selling Iswara, Wira......now with "Hantu"....this is not progression. That's not how a national carmaker be run. Give them a break ? Yeah, i suppose we can....soon they'll be non-existent. Time to wake up.....no more honeymoon monopoly days. And please...not to wake up with "Hantu" !

one thing about proton, i dont understand their stupid marketing how they love to post teasers of the car, like showing the outline, under covers, or in the box, and expect people to book the car without really seeing it? i find it totally stupid.
