PS: sat in the gorgeous open-top Z4 in the showroom. I must say, that is one solid, sexy roadster for a reasonable RM411k. So what if I would look like a p*mp? At least I'd be a grinning p*mp. :D

Oh yes...... If I had the dosh to shell out for a Z4, I wouldn't give a toss to whatever anyone thought I look like. The mirrors on that thing are only for seeing the cars behind you, fade away.

And hey, some p1mp5 got good taste too. Sigh....whoever said money don't buy happiness, hasn't splashed out on a Beemer!

Went for my 2nd BSRI today, although there was still 1,500km to go on the counter. 1st BSRI at 10k, midterm oil change at 22k, 2nd BSRI at 29k. The counter was reset at 20k or 12/2010, so it would seem they're holding true to the letter.

They also changed my brake fluid, airfilter, microfilter and wiper blades. Excellent service, absolutely free. :top:

Schwepps, so engine oil change is still every 20K km NOT 10K km ? change wiper blade too ? Too good to be true. Must make sure they change my wiper blade at 30K km service.

My last and only BSRI was done at 23k km. Now I'm at 32k km.. very excited to pour in my dust colleced SLX and can't wait any longer to drain the SC Syntium LL.. oil filter standing by in my store room lio..

Really not looking forward for BSRI oil change.. their Petronas Syntium LL is crap anyway..

Want to write or call them? Be my guest.. I will be enjoying my Castrol SLX 0w-30 while you all fight for the additional dose of Syntium.. count me out..

I'm surprised etquah is not "converted" yet after using the super smooth SLX.. want Syntium some more ka ???

Astroboy, I quietly enjoying the 0W-30 now. Just in case there is a spy from BMWM in this forum:listen:

10k is only the first BSRI oil change. Thereafter it's 20k whereas previously it was 25k. That's now verified with the countdown setting in my OBC.

After my first 10k BSRI, the countdown setting was 25k, but that dropped steadily based on condition until recently it showed 1,500 to go at 29k. I did an interim oil change at 22k but it didn't affect my countdown.

Wiper blades, brake fluid, air filter and AC microfilter were changed at this 29k BSRI without any complaints from me. That's even better than Merc warranty service! :top:

The 10K non-BSRI oil change will not affect the counter because they don't hook up to the computer to change the counter. That's why it's a "fast lane" service.

Waaah..... lucky you! I don't think they changed my wiper blades nor those filters.... :47:

Will ask them at my next BSRI service which is about 2K KM away.

No bro, my 10k service WAS a BSRI change, and the counter was reset to 25k, meaning the next BSRI would have been at 35k on the odo. But it steadily dropped to next BSRI at 30.5k on the odo. My mid-term change at 22k was at my own cost, so of course they won't reset my counter. But E46F found out filling in fresh oil may push your counter upwards by itself.

It's not a question of luck. I think it's a policy now to change those 4 items at the ~30k BSRI.

BTW, if your BSRI is 2k away, I think you can go now. Mine was 1.5k away and they accepted it.
