i'm using 205/55/16 V8 rs now, seems like ok with my car

Is V8 RS better than R-S2 on wet road (not track, coz my car don't go to track)??
Is R-S2 noisy?
Shall I go for R-S2 or V8RS?

Any idea how much for these 2 model for size 235/45/17...and where can I get them with good price...one shop offer R-S2 at RM465.00. Is the price ok?

Or any other tire you guys can recommend..bujek around +-RM450/pc.

I kinda like RS2 cos harder tyrewall. The V8RS is good but soft tyrewall la. But beware...The RS2 for me is a bit low on the treadwear. So does the V8RS.

Oh well,I can't have both world.

Still miss my Continental CSCs....

Better try the Dunlop Drienza 101....for ur E34. 535i was testing the tyres( well,he really whacked!!)On certain corners somewhere classified....which my E30 running on RS2 can't take it.Would've lost it.But his E34 outcorners me car....yikes!!!!and I was really impressed.

V8RS is not for heavy cars like E34 la....Sorry.

Found 18' Korean tyres on sale in Klang 225/40/R18 for only RM290. Nonetheless, it is HR rated.

Can be found at Pusat Perkhidmatan Tyre Hock Li 132 Jalan Kapar.

On sweepers yes....but not tight corners.

Got mine at RM 490 a piece.
Noise - got la
Grip - good ; dry and wet - at least for me
Wear rate - hmmmm - lasted me 6-8 mth = circa 30,000 Miles

This is a hard compound tires - side wall is hard. If u are looking for comfort, might not be ur choice ... but kalau layan corner kat Bukit Tinggi and Jen-ting - marvelous !!

The Falkens will wear out faster than the Dunlops - they use softer rubber compound which provides good dry/wet grip at the expense of tire wear. The FK452s are slightly better compared to the ST115 in this respect IMO but still no match for the D101s. I'm on Toyo T1Rs at the moment but switching to the Dunlop SportMaxx in a few months time.

Bro, go for the DZ101 (Direnza) but not the Sportmaxx which I have on my car. Even though its supposed to be Dunlop's top of the range tire, the performance is a big question mark!! Tire wall is too weak and hence could feel excessive body roll when taking corners.

Albundy, is DZ101 newer than Sportmaxx..., is DZ101 Dunlop's top range now?

*now I have more favor towards Dunlop 101..hehe...the price is also cheaper...
