very nice engine indeed but now after owning it for a while feel i need morela...........can i make it a 2littre or more aah? heard it can be done to a 2.1 but feeling itchy now!! love the consumption on the small fella.........with about oz45 bucks i get around 440 to close to 500 kiloes.........alot of revving to get there too!! nice small nippy car!!

Camshaft, chip, exhaust should see you get to 170-180bhp.

gas flowed head, forged pistons, racing internals, MOTEC etc - maybe 210-220bhp?

Can't remember. Saw it on a BMW magazine. This german dude put in camshaft, chip and exhaust to get that kind of horsepower. I suppose it's either shrick or kent cams.

Sorry for being super-blur... but what does a MOTEC do? What is it actually?

I'm gonna need some bite for my ride soon as well...

Yeah pump it baby up to 220BHP and make sure you allocate OZ875 dollars a week for the speeding tickets you're gonna pick up. One everyday. Hahahah..... :nyehehe:

Be happy for now lah. Those poor M3 are trying to find a way to slow down their machines. Hahah....best they can do is achieve maximum torque from standstill at traffic lights (but they have to be the 1st car to test power) and then slam brakes once they hit 60km/h. Hahahaha.....

OOi...stop thinking about modding your ride now. Concentrate on your studies.

:aggressive: :aggressive: :aggressive:

wah i got so many fathers here wan!! part n parcel of me learning automotivela!! good enuf excuse or not?

dono if my consumption would be bad or not if i were to mod it a little..........now im enjoying fantastic consumption in a beemer!

oops motec is an engine management n was told its one of the top 3 in the world...........it manages ur engine to give optimum torque and output at all times as well as saves fuel in some cases!! a very good investment if u were to ask me for things like dat can be sold later especially in malaysia where its so scarce!

I've heard about it somewhere but only for Vanos engines...
not necessarily for vanos.............any engine which has a computer box to run the car can fit god sent motec...............my bros rally car had it from a total bone stock engine n it was much faster than most of the other engines which was koreked to dig power!! awesome stuff man but its expansive back home n to my knowledge nobody can do any tuning for it even settings.............dats wat i wana learn now hehehe!!

oi sideways... :D cipek..!!! :p hows ozland.??? get back to ur class..!!!! :getyourfactsright: dun waste money modding la... cipek..!!!! :p

*Disclaimer: The BMW club of Malaysia will not post bail....*

The car is fine, leave it well alone! The driver needs some upgrades though.................
