Need help! '07 E90 325i M-Sport pre-owned

hi every1, i'm new here n would like 2 seek advice frm all d sifu here. I already put down my deposit but still refundable if i changed my mind. an '07 model (reg feb 08) 325i M-Sport after nego selling for rm256k (list price 265k) with 7k-8k mileage. is it a good deal? or should i ask for more discounts? or alternatively should i buy the CBU model found on motor trader? CKD or CBU which would u go for and why? Thanks very much in advance .

What color? Black/Black? Was offered a '07/'08 car by one of the SA in Sapura Auto. Asking for 2K commission for the intro...

Btw, did u manage to find out why the owner is selling, so soon? Whenever i asked, i always get "owner upgrading to 5 series". Wonder if it's due to the size, too small or maybe market is moving towards the 5 series cause it's about the same price as a '05 525 M-Sport? It's also odd to hear of owners selling their 4-6 month old car, even at a huge loss. Sounds like a mistake with their purchase, be it car choice or finances...

Another consideration, might wanna wait for the new facelift. By then there 'might' be news of a reduction on import duties to offset the hike in petrol prices.

it's a pre-owned car by d dealership (AB, Sapura n etc...) hence it is registered under company name. it's one way to get rid of their '07 stock i guess.
Is it a good deal? would really appreciate ur opinion :-D

E60 is a big car n share engine wit E90 summore therefore more weight 2 carry oso heard dat d rear wheel arch actually makes d rear seating a bit more less space whereas E90 is not so.

if '07, do check if it comes with bluetooth. Heard the last batch of '07 comes with it. To retrofit it will cost RM8K.

As for the E60, was just a consideration from a financial point of view. Roughly the same price but you get a bigger car. Which would be easier to sell 2 years from now? Just a thought... starting to contradict myself....

Anyway, i too will be viewing 2 units of 325i sport this weekend. Will see if the price/condition of car is right. A fun car no doubt. Conscience telling me to wait. Even got 2 SA telling me the same thing. Wait for 4th quarter, new face lift and maybe lower import duties for '09.... Will see how this weekend goes.

yes it does come with bluetooth together with i-drive. mine is a dark blue/ black interior.

Correct me if I am wrong but:

- E90 325 sport's list price is 309k, while E90 325's list price is 265k.

- If it's 07 325 sport model, it should come with m3 steering, m3 rims, m3 skirts, m3 seats, m3 suspension and.... The rim is very distinctive between 325 and 325 sport.

- E90 325 07 models does not have usb port beside the audio-in, as well as bluetooth. Both of these are available in 2008 models as standard. But some 2007 cars are retrofitted by owners/dealers with bluetooth.

Better see the car for yourself, just to be sure it comes with bluetooth & usb. Went see a car yesterday, when asked, he said yes to both bluetooth & usb. As suspected, came with neither. Asked me to make my offer since it came without it. Told him 225K since the use car market (trade in) for these cars not very good, only about 200K-210K. Told me he'll get back to me.....

i didnt buy as well as d car had both wheels on left side badly chipped, few minor dents, small but numerous chip at d windscrn plus wasnt confident it was being by bmw malaysia upper mgmnt as told n at 257k i couldnt take d risk. so i opted for an 02 E46 SMG 330i abt 140 miles which was brought in new in 02 wit all d goodies. test drove it n was orgasmic, couldnt imagine hw gd an e90 330i wld be.
still nego on d price.

Already ask wllchan to do a formal intro in the Newbie section and to update himself our E90 register, when he's not too busy enjoying the car..

Beemer, if you're not in a hurry, why not wait for the new batch of E90 325i sport. Seems like they have upgraded the specs on the car. Probably coming out with LCI version with built in HDD for I-Drive, as posted in e90Post.com. Again it might be different here in Malaysia. Since am i am not in a hurry, have decided to wait.

Just remembered, one of the SA got a customer with a silver unit wanna sell. Asking RM262K. A bit on the high side for a '07. Just came to realize that if a 325i not from BMW Malaysia or any of it's authorised dealer (Pre-reg or demo car, under 10K mileage), it doesn't go beyond RM250K.
