My "new" BMW E36 328i...... "小白"

Hello everyone. I'm here to introduce to you guys my "new" acquisition, a 16yr old E36 328i. Since so many of you guys like to name your cars, I shall name mine "小白", or Small White (affectionately). Hehehe. I have been following this forum for quite some time, learning more about BMW cars. After hearing so many good things about its inline 6 engine, I thought it is best that I get one to try out myself. Couldn't afford the newer E90/92, so went with the E36.The car feels a lot heavier than my other rides.... and it is really low (I really have to slow down on bumps). Some rattling sound here and there (expected for a car of this age).

All credits go to the previous owner who kept it in the condition that it is in now.I know white is hard to maintain.... but I'm trying my best.

Here's what I wanted to tryout, BMW's inline-6 engine.....

I love what the previous owner did with the interior..... the red colour adds some freshness to the 16yr old interior. Both front seats comes with eletric adjustments (even my GTi doesn't have it!)

But what makes the driving more engaging is the 5speed gearbox.

So.... these days....... have to figure out which to pick up.

The E36 328i.... or this.

Both are very different cars..... I must admit the E36's engine roar is very 'garang'.... but the GTi's power comes real fast. Which one is better..... I can't decide now. Must try both kaw-kaw before I can come to decide whether turbo or NA is the choice for me..... for the time being, I can be proud to say that I own a Beemer!! Fuyoh.....!!!!!:rock:

Wow.... didn't know this car is that famous. Yeah, I bought this from a forumer here. My first time getting a used car, so I searched here with the hope that the cars will be more well maintained than by normal used car dealers.

Never expected that youre gonna get an e36

Honda ka abang?! Hahaha. Bro Ssman is so hensum.... I'm nowhere near that lah. Malu I pose beside the car. Nanti org nampak muka owner, so tak hensum, lepaskan geram on the car then how?!!! I'm still getting used to the car. Big difference in the way it drives compared to my GTI.

It is in good condition... but just like any other car its age, it suffers from creaking/rattling sound here n there lah. But luckily, it came with a good sound system. Can cover up ANY unwanted noise. Hahahaha. As for the GTI, I'll probably sell it.... I only have a pair of hands and can drive only 1. Sell the GTI while it still commands quite a good price. Then later on... get the 320d? That's the next thing I feel like trying out.
