yea. cold start in the morning, it will not engage 3rd. Will stay at second and if let it stay (w/o shifthing to second) it will go neutral (or probably shift back to first gear) and transmission warning light will lit up. and limp mode it goes.
So now for cold start, have to shift to second, move around for 5 minutes then park it, shift to P wait few seconds then itll run no problem (even if i thrash it). suspecting the egs unit though.
yea optimum changed the solenoid last year before the dark incident. Gear shift is fine after the 5 minutes initial process. Just as long as i don't let it cool down too much (more than 5 hours parked etc). so wanted to try the heating up the egs method first during the morning and see whether it makes a difference or not.
