Apa comments ni. -_-

Had the shocks installed on Friday morning. Car feels good and no more bounciness. :D Incidentally, the old B4s were all worn, one was leaking and one was discolored from water seepage or something.

what about the sound from the back ? anymore ?

Thanks dude. Your grey mtech2 is pretty freakin sweet as well. :)

Just as I was leaving back to Singapore last weekend, the clutch hydraulics on my car appear to have given way. Clutch pedal is now free play about 75% of the way, then have to push all the way to the floor just to disengage clutch. Checked clutch fluid reservoir and it is full, but black in color. :-/
Guess it's time for a new master and slave cylinder set when I'm next back. Neverending story. :D

Another trip back to KL, more money going to the E30. :stupid:

As mentioned in the previous post, clutch hydraulics needed work. New master and slave cylinders purchased from Bavarian Auto and installed at my usual mech. Total cost incl fluid + bleeding + labour at about RM380. After work completed, clutch pedal feels better than ever before. I guess it was always worn in some way since I got the car. Now my pedal has zero free play and it sits at the same height as the brake pedal. :)

As no post would be complete without a photo, here's one of my E30 head to head with my dad's new RCZ.

I have to say, I don't normally have a lot of first hand exposure to more modern cars, so the RCZ was quite an eye opener for me. Amazing that this 1.6 turbo can make my dad's E39 M52B28 feel sluggish in comparison. Which of course makes my M40 feel even more worse. :(

Nice pic. The RCZ sure is a stunner. Finally Malaysia is able to bring in the cars that Europeans always raved about for ages, our ridiculous taxes notwithstanding...

Yeah. It's great fun knowing it only costs RM90/year in road tax too. Time will tell how well Peugeot's service and spare parts supply will be tho.

I've now started looking at other turbocharged cars as a future option. The Cooper S and Megane 250 all come to mind. :D Too bad I won't be changing up anytime soon hahaha.

It's running on a 1.6L engine huh? Awesome turbo tech on the ride.

Seems like got another hot hatch about to be launched by Renault soon in the form of the Clio + Twingo...

Eggie: Yep it's a 1.6. For a 4pot, it revs really smooth to the redline and has a pretty decent surge to it. The new Clio doesn't make sense to me though. It's too expensive, rather pay a bit more for the Megane 250.

ICEMAN: Thanks. :D

Yeah, the Megane 250 has been receiving rave reviews. Must be quite a surreal experience to be able to get the chance to get behind the wheels of one.

Another trip back to KL, this time did a half decent detailing with Meguiars M80 followed by M21 2.0.

Some days I wonder if I should just sell it. Doesn't seem to make sense keeping and maintaining it when I'm only driving it about 2 days a month.

Then some days, when the weather is fine, and I'm having a blast driving it around, I feel like keeping it forever.

Decisions. :D

Long time no update on this thread, but no surprise there since nowadays I only drive my car one weekend per month.

Not much in the way of updates. Grounding cable from engine to frame was rotting away, so replaced with a new one:

Have also purchased parts for timing belt + bearings change along with fuel filter. This will be done at some point soon as my current timing belt is reaching 4 years in age.

One last shot from Sunday when I washed the car:
