My E30 cabrio

Dear all,

The rims are ori 15" Zender star, came with the car. But offset is 12 i think so fills up the arches nicely. I have looked at a few other rims but so far none matches the offset yet, so I will take my time looking around.

THe rear view mirror is an after market item which increases field of vision thus eliminating the common blind spot. All my cars have one fitted. But you cant lower the visor...

Color i guess is a personal choice. The paintwork is original and I like the red color. The boot is a bit faded but I dont plan to change the color...

Eventually I plan to lower it slightly but not too much cos its going to be my daiiy car.

Right now, I am just going to enjoy it. Just came back from a seminar in Endau Rompin. Evening drive in a cabrio...top down.. empty roads... nothing beats it, i must say.

Nice car!
Wheels suck...
Interior is new or came with??
Hate the red piping on the leather!
Red body is an acquired taste la.
It's got potential la....
How much you bought it for?? 43K??
Eh! Does the roof leak ah???

I know you like the chrome, but IMHO the 1992 E30 Cabrio with the facelifted bumpers and tail lights looks
sweeeeet! It's got a fuller look to it!

But nice car nonetheless.

i always want one....agree with scin, i'm too partial towards the 92 model.

Cool!
I've only ever seen 2 other post 91 cabrios in KL in the last 12 years!

Dear all,

That 1992 model looks nice BUT i still prefer the chrome bumpers, just a personal thing. And... I prefer beige leather with body colored piping too!

What I do need tho are some deeply dished 16" wheels.....

dnhoh,

where u from? maybe can meet up???

So you refurbed the seats with beige leather and body colored piping?
what happens if you decide to paint it another color?
Will you redo the piping as well?

Travis,

I dont intend to change the color in the forseeable future. Anyway, if I did, yes, I would change the piping too...cost is about RM400 to do so.

KiNaKa,
I doubt you would be able to import that 1992 cabrio from Aust due to problems getting AP. There are apparently special APs for classic cars but I believe only cars above 25 years old would be considered...

Eh! Doc,
How much la??
Just curious....
PM if you don wan anyone else to see....
Thanks!
Where did you redo the seats at???
How is the condition of the roof? Did you redo that too????

PS

I know KiNaKa oredi asked, but.... wanna sell??

Nice car! Love topless car, but my personal favourite is the Golf Cabriolet - the rear window is real glass even back in early 1980's!

Docazani - deep dish 16"? How about Borbet A 16 x 9J rear wheels? The dish is like 2 inches!!!!

haha...i've seen the car in ampang this evening...

docazani, u live around tmn tar? saw your car parked near the jogging area

this car is very nice, having seen it up close...u may need to learn to take car pics from scin :D

OSFlanker,

Tell me where I can get those wheels???? U have a set fo rsale by any chance??

Shaifulo,

I know those pics not the best quality. I borrowed a friends dig cam cos my own is away to be repaired. Usually pics are better with my own camera. BUt tak adala pro standard.

Yep, I was at Taman TAR this evening for my evening walk. Usually will be there if not busy...
