me thinks the techwax was about rm80.... or thereabouts. the last time i bought that. but, i rather buy meguiar's #21 sealant instead.... but dats me lar. once i started #21, i gave away my tech wax for free.

i started with mg cleaner wax, shiny but not luxurious enuf the feel... and not quite deep enuff the shine...

then then mg gold class, lovely stuff.... deep shine... but dun last much especially rainy days, dirt gets stuck on it fast and often....

then mg tech wax, shiny like hell, not enuff depth... but shine last relatively long.

used mg tech wax, the top with gold class... tried to get best of both worlds... great stuff... needs time and dang a lotta efforts. cos 2 layers of tech wax needs 12 hours in between to cure and car needs light rewash just in case got dust, another 12 hours before gold class goes on top. car stays pretty much in the porch for 2-3 days. how long are you gonna keep this up???

mg #21 is from the professional range. its smells great, its easy to apply and buff off. it was an improvement from #20 which is similiar to the tec wax but is from the professional range. #21 tries to incorporate the long lasting effects and protection from the #20 and the deep shine of the gold class.

ok. only thing is, #21 is available in 64 oz only. lug it back and you wun need to buy waxes/sealants for quite a long time.


i dun work for mg, just in case this sounds like a product plug. i am a regular user of autoglym, klasse and other products.

Unlike the tea lady, I dont have that much time to detail both my cars, so I use Mequiars Color-X for the deep wet look couple with Mequiars Booster Wax. The shine/wax last easily for more than a month.

saw the claybar with the deep cleaning thingy going for RM80, and 2 claybars with the deep cleaning thingy and cloth thingy etc etc going for RM140.... is that the correct pricing?

Wanted to get the cleaner wax as well as its a good cleaning agent to all those bird dump, bat dump, tree sap, and tar...if there's another alternative, let me know....

#21 is about rm160.... i think... cant remember. good stuff dat one.

for cleaning up paint, after removing the surface contaminants with the claybar/tar remover, i think that the mg deep crystal paint cleaner or body scrub is great!

actuarry, it maybe more worthwhile checking out things you cant buy back at home rather than lug those things you can buy here. just a thot.

By the way, the 3.8liter size (1gallon) MG Gold Class car wash is sold under US$8. Amazing bargain isn't it...

This stuff is amazing. A friend did my first zaino application (Z6>Z5pro>Z6>Z2pro>Z8) on the E90, I am still amazed by the mirror shine. It was a long process to apply, took about 8 hours total including claybarring. Even zaino'd wheels and glass surfaces...Its a pain in the ass, but the shine is worth it and last up to 8 months with regular maintenance.
