In theory, you should be a few noses ahead, we're both on auto, plus you've got the headers & the manifold which I lack.

Concede defeat.

Cool dude. Will be good as i think my car is getting slower or it might be  just me getting used to the increase and wanting more.

If u have installed M3 cams in your 325i or 328i but have not remaping your ECU then you are missing out on half of horsepower.

E3six,

You got all of it before the chip and cams, right? I supposed u didn't remap the ecu after u put in BBTB, Standard M50 manifold and open port K&N. All this mods will alter your AFR. To be precise it will show lean AFR on the dyno that will translate even leaner figure for on the road driving. This was the main reason why u didn't felt any increase in performance. A leaner AFR will make u car feels almost std. Let alone response. What u should have done was to remap the ori ecu to compensate the higher amount of air that was entering your head with all the mods.

Rgds.

Yes i agree. Can't wait to do dyno after all this modification ( pain in the Assss !!!! ) "Talk does not bigger then action " :D :D

Cheers

very true, the m50 intake manifold has bigger chambers then the m52, they do it because of emmesion control in germany. changing it would help the car gain power, while doing this changing the cams to (schrick) would give u even more gains :)

one problem with the m50 compared to the m52 intake manifold is that, the m50 when swapped into a 328i, will only give u the gains when u are running at high 3000-3500 rpm, lower then this, it drowns the power gains in the car, u will not feel the massive pick up the 328 has with the m52 intake.

BUT, if u are planing to make a race car and need more power at higher rpm;s then go for it..

remember the m3 us versions are using the m52 manifolds and are running pretty fast!!
plz correct me if im wrong..

ok boys and girls... need some info about the polished schrick intake manifold, from what i heard it helps keep the m52 low torque as well as live up to the m50 torque standards and power gains, how far is this true? and has any one have schrick manifolds in their cars??? info needed please..
