jaja : You got PM! :D Im looking for an M20 B25 initially....just wondering if your current engine needs a new owner :p
 
If I were you, I will go with m50 to save lot of headaches. Also, m50 can breathe better than m52.
 
Tq pussy for pointing out so-called problems when swapping to m50.i will ask my mech maybe later this week.. i hope that there will be no such issues, as he already converted a few e30's to m50..

Ya, correct.maybe i'll go with the m50 route,after done a week of reading n research.. :)

Ya, i heard about that also.the only concern now is about weight distribution.. maybe if my mech can keep my original current setup, which is battery located at the rear trunk, should've saves a few kg's..

auxoura, it's not that i don't want to sell u the engine, the thing is, my engine has many problems, burnt gasket, 5 of 6 piston rings already kaput, suspecting cylinder head crack (indication:eek:il inside water tank), leak here,leak there, gearbox 'kasar' already, and the list goes on..
 
please journal your conversion with M50 ...write up a twitter or blog :D

Im still hapopy with my m40b18..nimble and agile....top speed only 180 aja
 
Thanks bazet..sure will do a write up also..am waiting my mech to clear his workshop 1st..:burnout:
 
if comfirmed hartge 2.7 engine...you better keep it and refurbish slowly...who knows you can sell the engine at 20k someday :D
