M20 to M50

how can you maintain ur M20 shortblock with the vanos conversion..??? :blink: weird.. but M52 is different then M50 right??

That's becoz I'm getting a whole M52 engine plus wiring except the block for free

i am not sure correct me if i am wrong, but i dont think that it will fit. but i may be wrong, if you do find that it fits then let me know...

Have u done enuf research on this yet????? how are you going to convert the belt driven mechanism on the M20 to the chain driven mechanism in the M50?????

that is ONLY one of the MANY other things u need to consider....

Well, it wouldnt fit and there are plenty of things that you may need, ie compressor, alternator, pulleys, oil pump and sump and etc. Not to mention you probably dont have the knock sensors, cam sensors, timing sensors and etc. You probably be better off selling the cylinder head and get a half cut to start your "project".
