Hi All,Greetings from Ayek. I'm new to this forum. Last week, by accident I saw one E30 cabrio for sale at SS2. it was like love at first sight. Brought my wife to see the next day but was sold unfortunately. Now I'm seriously looking at buying an E30. Must be a 2-door and in stock condition. You guys+E30 sifus have any suggestion where to look for? Also, perhaps some tips on what to check, price range etc.Cheers :wub:

well let me welcome u to the club 1st of all ayek.
now....ur another e30 lover huh???
u just missed a few good bargains for e30's in good and stock condition....
keep a look out for more e30's for sale in the forum.....
as alwiz,check tht there r no rust in the rust prone areas....like under the foot well(drivers side,under the pedal),firewall,boot area.....
whnevr ur keen in looking at a particular e30 u can alwiz post it up on the forum and i am sure tht there will be a few ppl willing to help u out in selecting the right one.
price range can be frm RM10k for a 1984 e30 to rm27k for a real good condition late model e30.
it all depends on ur luck....
but tell u what....pop by to our official tt 2mrw nite @ showru cafe,its in kelana jaya,behind the MAS training centre.
we will be there frm 9.30pm onwards and u can meet the sifus and the gang and we will gladly help u out.....

Sorry I have been present at purchases of 2-door E30 325s of well over that quantum recently. Condition can only be described as showroom, and they were stock. E30 activity has been on an increase lately - I hear 4 E30s were going for leather refurbishment at Subang just last couple of weeks.

Those 30k n below are no way mint condition. What esterix means is really mint & those can go up to 50k be it with an M20 or M50.

Couldn't make it to Showru last nite to introduce myself. Had appoinment with Kinaka to see his e30 for sale....perhaps tt next time. Btw, Kinaki's car looks great. I think I'm in love. Just for the sake of being careful, I will take sometime to explore further on other options available.

Just to update you all on my E30 coupe quest + advise needed.
So far I've viewed 3 of them. Mostly, they have ok engine + ok exterior. However, the interior seems to be a bit unappealing ie. cracked/torn dasboard, seats, side panel etc. Any ideas if this could be easily restored (to its original condition)? Are the parts easily available? Estimated cost needed to spend?
Btw, I've just missed a good one advertised in Star today. It was selling at RM15K and stated as showroom condition. When I called it was alredy sold..argghh.
