both are good....depends on ur roadtax payment...of coz 330 is gona beat 156 easily...325 msport also not bad....

mantainance wise...both is pretty similar...

330 would be preferred but check for rear sub frame damage before you finalize. I have a 318 and more than happy as I don't care for performance :D

sorry for out of topic.. what does UDM stand for? I see it a lot in this forum.

Yaya.. looking for 325 m sport... Very garang.. roadtax is also one of the factor... My finance minister not keen on a 2 door model.....

Wat are the major wear n tear parts and critical parts that i need to look out for?

Bro, which finance minister would agree on a coupe for her guy, especially those who travel a lot......hehehehe

Both cars are good, but if u ask me, go for 330 and enjoy.....

there is alot of wear and tear...important thing is...get it diagnose @ reputable bmw workshop to check for any error on the engine or gearbox..those minor wear and tear like bushing and mounting can be replace easily....

I would recommend 330, if possible go for M-Sport variant but it's pretty rare ... Effortless on the streets and on highways. Fuel consumption is pretty good even better on long journeys. 325 would be more balanced in terms of r/tax, power, maintenance cost and resale value. On 330's the disc and brake pads are more expensive.

The cooling system on the E46 is the most important factor. If you purchased the car make sure the cooling system is in top shape. They can give way without notice especially the expansion tank. M54 engine is robust so much so that 100k km M54 engine is still considered young hehehe

Allocate 10-12k for parts replacements and mods to make it a tip-top daily driver.
