Hi Guys,I'm a newbie here, kinda new anyway although I've been reading for more than a year & never posted (except at the classifieds). Want to upgrade my E90 320i suspension from stock, already changed to 18 inchers. Was quoted Rm 7,400 incl of installation by MotorsportsDivision for KWV2. Can anyone advise me whether this is a good price & can I trust them to do a good job? Anyone know a cheaper place? TQ

ask around for comparisons. lots of things had gone up in price recently...some members got it under group buy so cheaper and that was couple months back b4 the oil price hike!

There was 1 unit which I saw in BMWorld (Pandan Indah) and the price marked on it was RM6,900 if I'm not mistaken. The thing I can't recall now is whether it was for E60 or E90. Maybe you can give them a call and check with them. This was about a month ago.

Their number is 03-9285 9477 or 03-9284 6027.

If not mistaken, KW V2 comes with life time warranty. So if there's a problem with the set 2 years down the road and the reseller close shop d, who is the actual importer in Malaysia? What does the warranty card says?

WE have a forummer who is selling his for RM 4,000. It's a set used for only two months. It's in very good condition. I would say it's a best buy. Let me know if you are interested and I will get him to contact you.

Just curious....would I notice big difference if i use KW or Bilstein compared to my Msports?

BTW...called Speedline Ah Hoong, he said not stock for PS2. How leh?

bro, if you wanna change to KW, pls sell me your M-Sport suspension.

325i M-Sport suspension rating suitable for 320i meh?

Some say KW V2 do not have differentiated set for 320i or 325i, meaning they both can pakai..

The 325i may be a 6-potter but it's using Magnesium Alloy block and Magnesium Alloy is lighter than Aluminum which is used by 320i.

For KWv2 the install and tuning is everything. I would recommend obermaier to get the install done, else you'll end up with a big headache. Also I am running on 5 clicks softer than Kw recommended initial setting for our malaysian roads and running 18's. Go with the used KW which ken is selling. You wont find a better deal. BUt get it installed properly

Yeah, I agree Obermaier is the best place to install.

Hi David,

Does it required swapping or it's a straight forward purchase?

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all for the feedback, especially to Ken for his PM's. I'll take my time & be on the lookout for a good deal on the KW's. Have really heard good things about it so I want the best for my humble 320i (wish it were a 325 though ).

I believe it's a straight forward purchase. I was also wondering the same thing cos I currently got the M-Sports which I'm prepared to swap. Yet again, MMG is asking for the M-Sports in case we change to KWs.

Here here! Dont get stuck installing your KW's at just any shop. You may find the settings do not work out in your rides favour. Get it done professionally. I can attest to that!

You can swap out the 320 suspension for the 325 msuspension. Works fine round back, but not in front.

Bimmer910 did you finally sort out the installation problems with yours?

Yeah on paper, the 320i is about ~100kg lighter than the 325i. I think some of the weight is from the engine, others maybe the specs like Active steering rack, bigger wheels, etc. So spring rate for 320i in the front is gonna be different compared to 6 potters. I didnt see separate part nos for PSS9 and KWV2s for 6 pot and 4 pot tho. I think Eibachs have different spring rates for 6 pot and 4 pot. M sport susp also have different spring rates for them both

325i vs 320i E90
1490kg vs 1395kg
245kph vs 220kph top speed
7s vs 9s for 0-100kph
7.5s vs 8.9s for 80kph to 120kph on 4th speed
218hp vs 150hp
250Nm vs 200Nm

.. :D
