Before that at the workshop, also did complete service and thorough checkup...burned more holes in my pocket...
1) Found out the bearing inside the Flywheel Housing is loose and starting to rotate in a larger radius than it was was supposed to....symptoms are abnormal vibrations when revving between 1800-2000rpm...decided to change the whole unit to avoid further damage to other components...damage to wallet was rm2500,,,
The Flywheel Housing..
Got it removed..
The bearing inside...
2) The ABS/DTC light also light up like a christmas tree after I got the car....new unit costs around RM8k-10k....however managed to get the ABS Pump serviced and repair...total damage RM1,550...
3) Replaced the Transmission Oil (HKS) - RM1,500
4) Labour charges - RM450
* posting for the purpose of sharing and comparison between UDM and JDM maintnenance costs...also for the benefit (and racuns) of a few potential converts here who are closely reading this thread...hehe
Haha but still not bad la bro....coming from an ex UDM owner I was actually expecting much worse...even for bmw the cost for changing transmission oil is about RM1000-1200....repair ABS pump also around RM1k++ if not mistaken....of course I'm not complaining on the gtr maintenance, just sharing

Tempat jatuh lagi dikenang, apatah lagi tempat bermain
The journey with my twin turbo-coupe continues...saw an interesting product online, always wanted a lower lip, but at the same time worry the lip will break when hitting a bump or it would limit the car's accessibility to basement parkings or steep slopes...
Decided to try the "Samurai Burger" as a lower lip around the car, made of strong durable EPDM rubber ...not bad for its value for money (RM150 for 2.5m with installation)...and most importantly is the practicality and flexibility of the material ensuring passing thru bumps and basement parking a non-heartbreaking experience...
Quite satisfied with the look, I believe even this small addition will enhance the overall look of the car, like the saying goes, small steps (or mods) does make a difference
