Admin wrote "remove due to complaint". Actually should write "removed due to violation of forum rules". It's not my fault. It's the forum rules. lol.

Replaced the rear axle oil for smooth transexual activities:

bro, before the thread is closed, wanted to check did you do this at K & S? How much and did it cause any issue? Thinking of refreshing my 325 but some say dont kacau if nothing wrong!

Don't close this thread la.the car is awesome, the new owner can continue updating this thread. Btw, the tail lamp issue happened to me. Went to BA and bought the bracket that holds the bulb. Cost about 150 if not mistaken. Issue resolved.

Yes bro this was done at K&S, can't remember how much the total damage coz I did a few things as well at the same time, but the special axle oil is quite pricey at around rm50 per 1L bottle (u will need 2 bottles)..I would guess less than rm200 including labour..just think about it this way, moving parts need lubrications and lubricants will expire/lost its lubricating properties over time and usage (just like our engine oil)..under normal conditions it is recommended to change both ATF and axle oil between 60k-100k km, but more frequent change to preserve your gearbox is recommended especially if u often drive the car hard..for example R35 GTR requires gear oil change at every service interval (just happen to know..hehe)...anyways definitely I can say after changing both ATF & axle oils on the 335i, the gear shift is waaaaaay much smoother..so I'm feeling it was the right thing to do bro :)

Whaaaaaaat? Every service interval? The service interval is 20k kms right? Oops... Probably wrong thread to post this.

From the manual, it should be every other service interval (18,36,54 months) but of course recommended more frequent replacements to preserve the gearbox, especially those that have went through launch control sequences..oh btw don't worry bro, service interval for pre-facelift 2011 models is 6,000 miles (or 6 months) and for post 2011 models is 9,000 miles (or 12 months)...but of course la we won't wait till then, probably will service halfway like how we love our 335i's..hehe

*don't quote me on the above info..but soon I can share more info on Audi service requirements..Oopss probably wrong thread to post this too..cabutttzzz
