Thanks for all your effort ... appreciate all the hard work you're putting in. It's always nice to have new faces joining us ... those folks are more than welcome as always. I'll see if I can round up a couple of my ICE goonies who are also driving BMWs to join us on FRI la ...

Club decal is running low .... or almost finish. Not sure if Zam picked up any during his last TT up in KL ...

justin, yes, robert is still waiting the bmw stickers from our dc hero viz daredevil. hopefully, robert has them by this friday.

let me see, these are the ppl who told me that they are coming to the tt:

hopefully, all above are coming. if not, 10 cars would also be nice......

This is done so that we can secure all bookings for all the things that we have lined up for the evening.

Here were are again people .... hot off the press and thru the petrol fumes.

The JB TT broke new grounds today. We had a change of venue - the spanking new Kempas Projet station along the PGD highway and boy, it was just what we needed.

A total of 21 cars showed up ... ranging from the usual E30, E36, E46, E21, E34 and a sole E39 with the star of the show undoubtedly being Kelvin's red hot E30 cabrio ... There were also a huge number of new faces thanks to the untiring efforts of our Doc Evil aka Eddie Fiola. Looks like our drive for new members in JB is going on strong. The new ones were briefed on the club and our activities and the upcoming annual dinner function. Vladd also distributed the Club windscreen stickers to all present - a small token that was very well received.

The chaps from Project Kempas were also kind enough to provide us with a steady flow of soft drinks - thanks fellas and to Doc Evil too for his PR work. Looks like we've found a nice TT joint finally with ample parking and resting area for mingling.

After all the getting to know yous and checking out of the rides ... not mention poison sharing, we took some group photos before adjourning to the usual Mamak Rest. at Impian Mas. Some early birds left for home and other activities while the rest convoyed to the rest. in an orderly manner. More chatters and etc were exchanged during the makan & minum session here and a few more activities are being planned in view of the growing number of new faces. We are also driving for new lady members ... so that some the guys here could also bring along our other halfs without much ado.

We will be announcing the planned activities in the very near future but in the meantime, keep on driving and let's get them new members in. Also, a huge word of thanks to those of showed up despite your busy schedules traffic and etc. Eddie - great job in getting this one organized. Vladd for your non stop promotion of the club and etc. BMMad for his ever reliable camera .... same goes to Roland too - next time charge your cam batt. la Bro. And a special thanks to Ravi who took the trouble to show up and mingle around despite his mum's health. Thanks bro - we pray for her speedy recovery. And to the new members, please spread the good word around and see you soon at the next TT.

vanquish, nice report. u should work with top gear. anyway, glad to see many cars turned up. i was expecting max 10 cars....... had a great time. me, azman, farid, yus n bmmad lepak at that mamak shop until 3.30am. robert couldn't tahan the high temperature due to the material of his shirt.

so, we are going to do our next tt on 24-6-05, 9pm, at the same projet station. azman has agreed to kaotim with the owner of the 'singgah selalu' so that we can get the vip parking spaces. so, we plan to gather at projet first, then we shoot off to 'singgah selalu' at 10pm. so, nanti sesapa yg lambat reach the projet station, u guys can go straight to the 'singgah selalu'. but if late, i cannot guarantee u to get the vip parking space.

i also would like to know how many ppl think they can go for the next tt so that azman can book the number of parking spaces at 'singgah selalu'.
i will start sending sms next week.

at the next tt, we would like to brief again u guys about the annual dinner thing, how many are going n so on. also, we also plan for short trip to maybe mersing, kota tinggi or other places in johor sometime in august.

robert, please try to get the sample shirt n t-shirt of bmwclub so that we can show to southern bimmer members so that they can buy.......

Thanks Eddie. My standards are only sufficient to post here. Must go back to the Uni if I want to write for TopGear or Evo.

Poor Robert - macam cacing kepanasan by the time we were at the Mamak Rest. Next time bring your T-shirt la, Bro ... Stripping was NOT allowed since we only had ONE laydee there ...

About the Club shirts and T-shirts, suggest that Robert speaks to the Club Committee to find out more. There is definitely a demand for both from the newer members ... especially for the Tee so if the club is planning to do a reprint, most of them wud put their money on it.

Zam, all the M5 allocations for 2005 and even early 2006 are sold out as what Eddie said. Also, jangan buang masa looking at the Volvo S80 ( based on what I heard ) unless you're planning to retire and raise a family of 4. You want space and pace ... go buy a E39 la. A nice 528i or even the newer 530i is just what you need.

Ok to all those who missed this TT are all welcome to the next one. I have distributed all the club stickers to those who made it to this recent TT. So if anyone from JB wants to get their TT have to pay RM5! Hee hee just a joke. I will be distrbuting the new car stickers on the next TT. I am really happy that the turnout was overhelmingly incredible. I am damn proud to be a member in the bmwclubmalaysia. About other activities I will try to work out with van and the doc as Mr van is the adviser for the JB chapter and Doc will be the Deputy. For the time being there is no unofficial president selected yet. Will be looking forward if someone could volunteer to be one.

roland, no need to vote. robert has volunteered to become our southern leader. so, we all must help n support him making our club becomes more organized n more activities. do not worry, more activities will come in the future. just sabar n wait.......
