TT & Painball
I dont think I can join the paintball. Would love to but mom have something going on at home and have to help them out. Maybe can meet up before you guys go on to the paintball place. How about b'fast for those early birds like me..
Also, when is the TT and where? I'm originally from JB but heck I have no idea where things are now in JB...

The paintball event is happening this SAT, 09-Sep from 2.00 - 5.00 pm at the Paintball Arena in Taman Impian Mas. We've been requested to show up at the arena about 20 mins earlier for safety and game briefing. I suppose that we can be there by 2.00 pm and commence the game by 2.30 pm.
Let's meet up in Impian Mas itself first since most of you guys may not know the way to the arena. Anyone has a common meet place up there ?

Bro,
Not wanting to rain on your show but perhaps you really need to check the origin of these cheap products. This very issue has caused a lot of unpleasant happenings in ICE forums all over the region - just wanna make sure you're not victimised as well. DLS is not a pasar malam brand and the amount of R&D, technical excellence and quality that goes into their products are really exceptional. However, given that they too have outsourced their manafacturing to China/Korea due to cost and etc, the issue of product copying has been bugging them for a while now. So, cut price deals as far I'm concerned are dubious and they are only out to fleece you of your hard earned money.
My ex and I've been using their products for a very long time - since the days of their technical tie-up with Genesis till their stand alone operations in Gothenburg now and are rather familiar with their product line and etc. The issue fake speakers/amps while new here, has been bugging consumers in Asia for a while. The popular DLS UR6 and UR36, PS6 and even some Iridium, 6.2 component speakers and Ultimate A8 and Reference RA40 amplifiers were the main victims. In SIN for example, the fake UR6 components sets were going for SGD 500.00 or lower when the authentic Pro-Ice set were going for atleast SGD 750.00 and above.
When the news of the fake products were known and people who were cheated into buying them realised what had happened, things went very much out of hand with some of the sellers having to seek cover from angry consumers. In Malaysia, the awareness is not quite there though people are slowly coming to terms with it. I can bet every penny in my wallet that those loonies happily selling their DLS wares on Lelong.com and etc are selling fake knock-offs with or without their knowledge. Let's not even get started on the quality of these products - cheaper components and materials are being used and after some serious listening, you'll know you've been had. I have copies of the test results that a few friends and I carried out in terms of response curve, distortion graphs and etc of the fake UR drivers vs the real thing.
So, no offence - I just wanna make sure that people here including you are not being taken for a ride by a bunch people who are out to make some quick buck. There's no such thing as free lunch and high end products like DLS, BMW, IWC, Armani and etc do not get whored out in the market just because they need market share.
