DRIVE DOWN TO THE SOUTH
8 am - meet at Mc' Donalds in Sungei Besi... breakfast then a short brief then..
9am - we start the convoy... THOSE WHO ARE LATE WILL HAVE TO CATCH UP WITH US
10:30 am - or there abouts we will reach mallacca over head restaurant. Have a cuppa, hopefully I can get some mallacan's to join us for the rest of the drive down.
11 am - start to drive again.
12.30 pm - est. arrival in skudai Toll where Vanquish or Vladd will take us all to lunch....
2pm - we will check in hotel and then it will be free and easy till evening.

Guys all this suggestion is fun, but what Mr VP say is true.. Now seeing that the response is getting on really well, shall we get a police escort ?? Does anyone know how to get this ?? whats the procedures ??

Got a suggestion for the convoy and to minimise waiting/lost time:
1.Break the group into batches of 6 to 8 cars.
2.Each batch to have a lead car and others should not overtake.
3.Set the stop & re-group time & place.
4.There should be a tail car at all times.
4.Anyone or any car with a problem should inform their lead car and stop at a suitable place. If problem is serious then lead car should inform the other leaders. If possible let the other cars continue with journey and re-group later.
5.Ensure before start of journey that everyone is introduced and briefed about the itinery, destination and persons in-charge. Ensure each car is fueled up and drivers/passengers ready to go.
Thats just my 2 cents. Its fun when everything clicks and everyone does his bit.

There are pros and cons of requesting for police escort... but if you guys break it up into small packets (packs) it should be more manageable. Anyway, if you do want an escort, just head over to jalan bandar and put in a request to them. Don't forget, this is from KL to JB not just within KL. You may get the escort to the toll gate in Wilayah/Selangor not all the way to JB, different states.
As for the plates request by Wolverine, its best if you guys just order cut out stickers. There is a printer in Pudu that can do it in a couple of days. Stick it on the front or back windscreen of your car, not plates. Can kena saman if you cover any one of the plates. (Kev, this printer is the same one that we use for the X-1R team)
Also, if you all want breakdown backup, call up Nanthan from AAM Motorsports and they should be able to assist you in tying up with the AAM services all the way to JB as a backup... Kev I sms u the number.
