I can just feel it...My parents have decided to put the E32 up for sale, and are eyeing the E38 as a replacement... Mizhan bro, I remembered one of your earlier posts earlier this year, saying that the prices of E38s are really gonna drop, and many more will jump on the bandwagon. Well, guess what? I'm excited that my turn to join the geng tiga lapan is materialising soon! :love:Although the trim has shown obvious signs of wear & tear, the car's still mechanically sound. Here are some pics I took earlier this noon when I went to view the car.

Are these facelifted lights? The car came with CCFLs. Me likey! :top:

Jeng jeng jeng... 740iL. Alamak. Too big for me! :D

Should the rims go? They 'look' comfortable though. I mean, look at their profile! So thick! :D

Car looks handsome in green.

New and old. Out with the old, and in with the new? :love:Car needs a proper detail and wax... My hands are starting to itch!

Thanks Iceman.

Still nego with the owner. Car's 97 model, pre facelift, owner's asking for around RM 40K.

A resounding YES!! :top:

Those are not the facelifted lights. Facelifted lights got the "scallop" like the E46. To convert to facelift, you need the facelifted light, the strip at the bottom of the light and the side fenders.

Looks like the owner has changed all the lights to aftermarket already... less mod cost for you ;)

Trims can be refurbished... just make sure its not cracked. They are expensive to replace.

Tyres are 16"? Definitely super comfy.... but unker la... hahahha!!

But most of all.... 740iL.... fuyoo.... V8 + long wheelbase... :top: :top:

The lens seem like taken out from e39 headlight and modified into the car.

Was waiting for you to comment. Haha. Actually parents decision. :D My mum's actually hooked cos of the number plate. :D

I see. So, aftermarket lights they are then. The rears have been changed to LEDs too. Pretty clear and bright. :top: Hmm, if not mistaken, I did see the driver seat, one of the plastic near the electric seat control has cracked. Got lubang there d... Hmmm. But still. E38!!!!

Leather's a bit dirty and worn, but nothing that a good TLC and detailing session can remove. :D

Yes, definitely unker looking! Haha. Me need more awesome rims. Might pester my dad into visiting a halfcut shop to get them changed. :D

Too bad opting for rims similar to Badrul's E38 is out of the question... Too pricey. :D

Serious? Owner told me they're aftermarket ones. Clear lenses with LEDs.

That's my opinion lar as i feel some e39 spirit from the headlight [same diameter of angel eye rings]. :4:

Hahaha. Probably it thinks itself as an E39 wannabe. :D Can pull off two looks with one car.

Yea man! Dun wait! Just buy! :top:

I dunno but I personally think that at RM40k this is a steal. On paper it is at least but based on your observation of the car's condition, I dun see how this car shouldn't be a good buy.

I have never regretted buying the E38 and I am still loving it after so many months. Rarely do I not get bored with a car after this long haha! :D

The plus point is that this is a LWB model and the number plate. Plus the headlights and rear lights already mod so you save a little there. I just dun like the colour that much but that's personal haha....... :top:

Thanks for your feedback bro! :top:

My parents have test drove the car a few times already, they said very quiet and quite comfortable. I tried sitting at the back, seriously so roomy. Although my place is definitely in the driver's seat! :driver: Started the car, sounded good. Didn't manage to test drive, but I definitely will love it if they get this car.

Hehe, colour-wise. I'm more of a dark-coloured fan cos more shiny especially after being detailed. But you're right, green is quite a boring colour to have. :D

Hahaha. Wow so soon. Might need to start eating indomie from now onwards... :D

And me too, i think that the projector inside taken from E39 facelifted and rojak with the E38 housing.

Tried to do that before but cannot find any good condition projector E39. It'll look good as the lens are bigger and fuller.

Congrates bro!

Hehe. Serious ka? I saw the lights when he lit them up. Very nice. The CCFL rings look brilliant, and they're like the daytime-running lights seen on the E60s and E90s. :top:

Anyways, thanks bro! Hope will get my hands on the car soon. Need to sell the E32 first. :D
