Ironic Vw Sirocco Tried to follow me.

Was it a white Nissan Sylvia S15R that tried to tailgate u? Had a friend who was nicely tapau'd by a new 7er recently..he was fuming mad!:banghead:

No, I don't get tailgated in a 7er. Normally people move out of the way in a nice orderly fashion so I don't get a backlog of traffic behind me. Must be something to do with a giant grille in the rearview mirror

Also, will watch out for white S15s in the future...

I personally believe that speeding in a straight line on a highway is not much fun. Better to bring your car down to a track. Proper acceleration and cornering much more fun than driving in a straight line at 250km/h!

Anyway, I try to abide by the speed limits, and if a car approaches real quick, I just complete the over take and move left. I don't see the problem with being overtaken.

On the other hand if someone tailgates me, just ignore them and drive even more safely, giving more room for braking gently.

Be considerate bro. Happen to me a lot of times and few time I noticed the drivers were actually makcik/auntie. If you really honk ... you will panicked them, heheheee. Silap haribulan, heart attack.

u can see alot of this in ipoh town.. sometimes they driving with thick eyeglasses and their face barely touch windshield but we have to shows our respect bcoz they all warga emas and 1 day we will become like them.. hehehehe..

talking VWs and M cars....

was doing 120kph on the right lane with mk5 gti, just like everybody else. loads of traffic so wasn't exactly speeding, then this white M6 on the middle lane doin 90kph, suddenly after i pass him, change lane to right and cucuk me.
i can read his mind "ah gtis.. my M eat them for breakfast"....afterwards i move to the middle lane since i want enter bkt jelutong exit on the nkve, he overtook with his loud exhaust on the right before going to the same exit as me.. tried to follow him on the bends but failed... my grandma beside me say slow the heck down already

but i'm really surprised that someone from a bmw forum actually obey speed limit and despise tailgaters.. it's usually the bimmers who do all the tailgating

A lanehogger is waaay worse than a tailgater.. with a tailgater,u just move out of the way and he's thru.A lanehogger is utter selfishness translated to the roads,freeways etc.

a. don't feel embarrassed driving VW, you are lucky not be in a waja.

b. not all on BMW forum drive recklessly that is true. Some do follow speed limits. However, when we decide to play, we play safe, without causing any nuisance on public roads and upsetting other road users.

Similar to performance 4x4s, just because you have one, doesn't mean you should clime every hill and curb in KL, there are loads of trails within minutes driving off from KL. That is what weekends are for! Same goes for BMW, great car, great power/handling/performance but be considerate to other road users. Don't la drive like a di*khead! :stupid:

They have the right to stay within speed limit 90 but not at the fast lane! Should stay at the middle lane. Fast lane is meant for overtaking or to whoever feels the need to move faster than the speed limit. This is common sense bro
